The oven cavity, turntable, turntable support, rack dishes 
and especially the lower grill will become very hot,
always use thick oven gloves at all times when
removing the food or turntable from the oven to prevent burns.
WARNING:
AUTO COOK / AUTO DEFROST enables you
to cook or defrost foods listed on the menu label
attached to the microwave oven and the chart on the
following page. Follow the example below for details
on how to operate this function.
EXAMPLE:
1. 
Press AUTO COOK or AUTO DEFROST until
the number corresponding to the food listed on
the menu label appears in the display. 
In the example given here, AUTO COOK is
pressed once to select the first item, Roast
Beef/Lamb. 
2. To enter the weight in kg/g or lbs/oz, turn the
TIME/WEIGHT knob. 
WEIGHT RANGE:
Food weight should be rounded up to the nearest
0.1kg or 1oz, for example, 0.65 kg to 0.7 kg and
12.5 oz to 13 oz.
You are restricted to enter a weight within the range
given (see chart on the following page). 
To cook/defrost weights below or above that range,
refer to the charts in the Cookery Book.
3. Press START/AUTO MINUTE to start cooking.
NOTES:
• Press the MORE or LESS keys before or
immediately after selecting the AUTO COOK or
AUTO DEFROST menu where recommended in the
chart on the next page.
• When defrosting, small pieces of aluminium foil can
be used to shield small areas of meat if they become
warm. Ensure foil does not touch oven walls. Do not
cook meat until thoroughly defrosted.

COOKING PROCEDURE
• For one section containers, use a
scewer to pierce film in five places.
• Place on the low rack.
• For two section containers, pierce
using a scewer. Pierce meat/main 
portion three times and rice/pasta
portion twice.
• For food contained in bag(s), pierce meat portion five times on each
side. For rice/pasta pierce five times on one side only (where rice/ 
pasta portion bags come already perforated, do not pierce further.
• Place on a plate on the low rack.
• Close the oven door, press the AUTO COOK key 
once for chilled or twice for frozen ready meals.
• To enter the weight, turn the TIME/WEIGHT knob.
• Press START/AUTO MINUTE to start cooking. (Note: for non-stirrable
foods, press the more button, before pressing START/AUTO MINUTE.)
• After cooking, leave to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes:
• For stirrable foods, stir as oven indicates. For food in bags, manipulate
contents, for non stirrable foods, it is not neccessary to stir.
• For frozen meals contained in two bags remove the rice/pasta portion
when the oven indicates “STIR” halfway through cooking.
• Place meat in a flan dish on the low rack.
• Turn meat over when the oven indicates.
• After cooking, wrap in foil and leave meat to stand for 10  minutes.
NOTE: Use MORE for beef/lamb which is well done and LESS (for beef
only) for meat which is rare. It is not possible to use LESS for pork.
• Pierce skin of poultry.
• Place poultry breast side down in a flan dish on the low rack.
• Turn over when the oven indicates.
• After cooking, wrap in foil and leave meat to stand for 10  minutes.
NOTE: It is not possible to use LESS for poultry.
• Grease the turntable with 5-10ml of oil.
• Place chops and pierced sausages, gammon steak, mushrooms and
tomatoes on the turntable and cook.
• When the audible signal sounds turn over the food. Close the door and
continue to cook.
• After cooking serve immediately. 
• Remove from package and place on the turntable.
• After cooking, remove from the turntable.
NOTE: Use MORE for frozen crispy crumb foods.

• Remove from package and place on the turntable.
• After cooking, remove from the turntable, stand 2-3 minutes and put on 
a plate for serving.
NOTE: Do not use pies with puff pastry as microwave energy will burn the pastry.
• Spread the chips evenly on the turntable.
• After cooking stand 2-3 minutes.
NOTE: Use LESS for French fries/thin chips and MORE for thick chips.
• Pierce each potato in several places, place towards the edge of 
the turntable.
• After cooking, leave potatoes to stand for 2-3 minutes.

• Place meat in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over when oven indicates.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 45-60 minutes until thoroughly defrosted.
• Place poultry breast side down in a flan dish, place on the turntable.
• Turn over when oven indicates.
• Stand wrapped in foil for 45-60 minutes until thoroughly defrosted.
• Place meat evenly in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over when oven indicates.
• Leave meat to stand in foil, for 15-30 minutes until thoroughly defrosted.
• Place in a flan dish on the turntable.
• When oven indicates turn over. Remove any defrosted parts.
• Leave meat to stand wrapped in foil, for 5-10 minutes until evenly defrosted.
• Place directly  on the turntable.
• Turn over when oven indicates.
• Leave bread to stand for up to 5 minutes until defrosted.

3. AUTO START
AUTO START/CLOCK enables you to set the clock. See page 6 for details.
AUTO START/CLOCK also enables you to programme the oven manually to come on during the next 12
hours (if you set the 12 hour clock).
IMPORTANT: Always attend the oven when in use. Check to ensure the oven is programmed correctly.
Exceeding power levels and/or cooking times can lead to overheating and fire.
You can use AUTO START/CLOCK only with manual cooking. Before programming the oven, always check
the display is showing the correct time of day.
Once programmed the display will return to show the time of day and
To check the AUTO START/CLOCK programme press and hold the
AUTO START/CLOCK key. 
To cancel AUTO START/CLOCK, press STOP/CLEAR twice.
AUTO START EXAMPLE:
4. Enter the cooking time using the TIME/WEIGHT knob.
5. Enter 50% by pressing the power level key three times.
6. Press AUTO MINUTE/START once.
7. The display will show the current time of day and auto. The oven will start the pre-programmed cooking at
the time set.
The oven cannot be used once the AUTO/START has been programmed. To cancel the programme, press
stop/Clear twice.
TO CHECK THE POWER LEVEL
To check the microwave power level during cooking press the MICROWAVE POWER LEVEL key. As long as
your finger is touching the MICROWAVE POWER LEVEL key the power level will be displayed. The oven
continues to count down although the display will show the power level.
