The operation has been left unchanged to allow easy conversion for customers. The
same functionality of Suspend etc are included as in the DOS Version. The only
differences that will be seen are 1. during Manually Keyed Transaction as in 4 above or

24. Magnetic Card for Table Entry
To realise table entry by Magnetic Card Swipe the Swipe for Table entry feature has
been introduced. The function allows new table opening and table addition to be
performed.

The Format setting is as follows :-

Format: - This setting selects the format of the card, this gives great flexibility on
the card types used. If the card chosen has a number 12345001 for table 1 and
12345003 for table 3 then the starting digits of 12345 are consistent for the site

table swipe would therefore be:- 12345%3 on Track 2 of the Magnetic card.

the default no of covers if Covers is set and re-ordering will take place if the card is

The existing POS software has a built in loyalty system. This system has now been
enhanced to allow Real Time operation allowing the redemption of values allowed by
Back Office Software. Card Balance checking has also been introduced.
