Can the Display area on the left hand side be increased ?

Yes it can be “stretched” to the full length of the screen, this is
particularly useful for scanning where there are not many pre-sets
required.

What is an SSP ?

The term SSP is an abbreviation for “Special Service Pre-set”.
It is a set of numbers that alter the way a machine would work for a
specific operation.

Is it possible to prevent Past Item Voids being carried out on the
UP-3300 ?

Yes.
There is an SSP to allow this function the SSP number is SSP-081.

Some files on the UP-3300 were missing after an IRC Set Up, but
the machine did not report any errors.

The machine may not have reported any errors to the display, but if
you had an Audit printer assigned it would have printed errors
against the files that could not be created !
