THIS IS DUE TO THE C:\AUTOEXEC.WM FILE BEING
DELETED. TO RESOLVE THIS COPY THE FOLLOWING
FILES C:\AUTOEXEC.POS TO C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT AND
C:\CONFIG.POS C:\CONFIG.SYS

ALSO CHECK THE FOLLOWING FILES EXIST AND IF THEY
DO DELETE THEM

C:\WM.FLG AND C:\USR\EX\L.BIN

YOU NOW NEED TO ABTAIN THE FILE AUTOEXEC.WM
FROM THE WAITERMATE INSTALL ON THE WEB AND
COPY IT TO C:\

ON THE UP5700 I HAVE SELECTED THE OPTION TO
LOAD WAITERMATE. THE SYSTEM THEN ASKS ME TO
REBOOT THE POS. WHEN I DO THIS THE TILL REBOOTS
AND ASKS WONT BOOT PASSED THE "COMPANY
LOGO" MESSAGE .

After going into the Utility Screen on the
Up5700 and selecting the More... key,
there is no option to update waitermate.

This particular problem and other problems
reported has been caused by the editing of
the Rincs file incorrectly   when the # has
been removed from a statement to activate
it the SPACE also should be removed
always edit the rincs file correctly.

Having installed PCFM i can see the Till from
the PC but I cant see the PC from the Till on
the 5700 / 5300

.

Check that the PC computer name is set to be
NODE16 and that the master till is set correctly
ie NODE001 and that the network is running
before starting the installation of pcfm

.

Can I use 5700 / 5300 in a retail
environment. ?

Yes but not in an environment with
more that 3,500 products
