I am getting the following error when paying by
Credit card using comidea on the 5700 / 5300.

“-90 Error”

Check that the POS has a mapped drive to the
backoffice pc.

This can be done by creating the following file
NETL.BAT in the  C:\USR\EX directory as shown
below.

I’m using Comidea Winti,  but the customer now
wants to take Cashback.

First of all you need to inform Comidea that this site is
using the CashBack facility so the Banks can be set
up.

Create a new Payment type called Debit card or Switch
change the EFT line from YES to CBK by pressing the
space bar.

Set the line EFTCASHBACK=n,m

Having set up EPoS Manager to perform Real time
update at next start of day the machine operates with
the correct Products from EPOS Man but the next day
they revert back to the old product file

The problem is caused because of date/time not
being in sync on both EPoS and PC.
The solution is to delete the PRDUPD.CSV file from
the master machine, then delete the relevent files
from the USR/DATA/RTU folder(PROD file) then
perform EOD on the system then go back
toEPOSMAN and set for update at next SOD.

I have sent changes from Fidelity or any back office
package to my Venta or Dos hospitality system , the
changes where sent to the commsin folder but when
Start of Day was run the message “Importing please
wait” stays on the bottom of the screen.

This is due to a problem with the import
mechanism, The solution is to install the latest
version and apply the fix. The fix is available from
Sharp technical.

To start the system in the mean time you can
reboot the master and delete the dated folder from
within the commsin folder.
