My UP-600/700 takes about 10 seconds before it
will allow me to make the next transaction. It is
connected to a PC ?

Your system must be Networked and PC linked.
After one transaction is completed, MASTER
machine gives T-LOG  request to MWS(PC). If no
answer However, if no answer is made, this
results in TIME OUT.(about 10 seconds), to make
the first registration of next transaction.
To overcome this:

Set the SRV setting JOB#923-AB to Dividing
Number of records in created T-LOG file by 100.

The UP600/700 is slow to start the next

transaction, as in the previous slide, the machine

is set for IRC and MWS, but the PC is not set to

poll.

As explained in the previous slide there is a T Log

Polling issue here.

If your PC is not set to Poll then the solution to

the delay is to set the “TIME OUT” under the

MWS setting to 1 second.

Is it possible to make an Auto key that would
disable KP output in the event the the KP went
faulty, this could then be used by the customer.

Yes,because the printer assignment is under
PGM Mode this can be achieved.

The machine only allows up to 48 items to be
entered then comes up with “Buffer Full” error my
customer needs more than this for their GLU
system.

No problem.
The size of the Reg Buffer on the UP600/700 is
defaulted to 48 items but can be increased to
9999 depending on your memory.
