In Inline setting in PGM there is a “Look Up order”
How does this work ?
The Look-Up Order refers only to the EAN codes
(not PLU) on a Satellite machine.
The machine will look up which ever machine you
have selected first, if it is not found, it will then try
to find the code in the other machine.

I have programmed some EAN’s on my slave
machine
but when scanning these items they appear to
have lost their text and price.
You have probably got your system to lookup the
Master 1st and as these EAN’s were not
programmed in the master the slave will pull back
an EAN code that has been learnt by the master,
hence the dept text etc.
To overcome this problem you could set the line
920-C to update machines automatically, or have
look up at the slave 1st, or disable the Learning
feature.
