Subtitle/angle/audio setting
Use the following procedure to perform the Subtitle, Angle, or Audio
setting.

Press FUNCTION CONTROL during playback.
• The FUNCTION CONTROL screen appears.

• You can set the subtitle setting to “OFF”.
• You can also toggle the setting between “ON” and “OFF” by
pressing \ or |.

VIRTUAL DOLBY setting
Use the following procedure to change the setting between “ON”
and “OFF”, and the level for the VIRTUAL DOLBY setting.

Selecting Scenes by Title Number

Press TITLE to show the title screen.

Use the number buttons (0 to 9) to enter the desired title, or ',
", \ or | to highlight the desired title.

When you press M (MEMORY), ENTER or û PLAY,  the title
specified in step 2 starts playing.
Selecting Scenes from the Menu Screen

Press MENU to show the menu screen.

Use the number buttons (0 to 9) or ', ", \ or | to highlight the
desired title.
(Example) Title 2 selected.

When you press M (MEMORY), ENTER or û PLAY, title 2 starts
playing.
• These functions only operate on DVDs that have a title or menu
screen.
• Languages not provided on the disc are not displayed.

Direct Skip Function
This function allows you to skip directly to the beginning of any title
or chapter.
• Direct Title Skip

While a disc is playing or is stopped, press DIRECT.
• The following screen appears when pressing DIRECT in stop
mode.

Using the number buttons (0 to 9) or ', ", enter a title number.
(If you enter two or more digits, the last two digits are displayed.)
(Example) Entering title 3

Press ENTER to skip to the title you specified.
• If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, the specification
display disappears.
• Direct Chapter Skip

While a disc is playing, press DIRECT twice. (Press once for a
title and twice for a chapter.)
• This function is disabled in stop mode.
