5-2. Saving procedure
1. Turn ON the power of the unit.

"****.zip" is unzipped, the program "EepromBackupTool_v100.exe" is made.Start up the back up software by
right-clicking on an icon and select "excecute as ADMinistrator role".

Please make sure the
"Baudrate" is setted to 9600. Select the Port which matches the setting of PC.
Then click "OK" button on Serial Port.
*When communication setting would not work, please make sure the cable connection and affinity.

5. Clicking "Read" button. Then reading starts and the indicator shows the progress of reading.
6. When reading is completed, the message of the "Complete" appears on the screen. Then click "OK" button.
7. The model name is displayed on EeprombackupTool screen as follows.

"Save" in "File" menu.

10. On Save As dialog screen, specify the file name (Type of file: *.txt) and the folder where the file is saved. Then

NOTE: Please do not operate the TH-98LQ70 until the power is turned OFF once after writing is completed.

NOTE: The power OFF and ON of TH-98LQ70 is required for the data renewal.
10. Turn off the power of this unit.

6-2. Operation flow chart after replacement of major parts
1) LCD MAIN P.C. Board excahnge
After checking the sofrware version of the board according to the below procedure, backup the EEPROM data to a PC.
Then replace the LCD MAIN P.C.Board and write down the EEPROM data saved on your computer to the new board
to return to the original condition.
