SECTION 2 DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES
2. Mechanical and Electrical Parts Disassembly
2.1. Disassembly flow chart
* Before Disassembly the projector, turn off the POWER switch and disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet.
* To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedures.
* When tore off sticky tapes, please use a new thing without reusing it on the occasion of assembling.

2.2. Air filter unit removal
1. Open the air filter cover, then remove it.
2. Hold the tab of the air filter unit and pull out whole air filter unit.

1. Loosen 1 screw-A to remove the lamp cover.
2. Remove 8 screws-B (T3x10) and 1 screw-C (M3x6) to remove the top cover.
3. Remove 4 screws-D (T3x10) to remove the front cover.

1. Remove 3 screw-A (T3x8) to remove [A]/[J]-P.C.Board assy.

2.4. [A]/[J]-P.C.Board assy removal
1. Remove 3 screws-A (M3x6) and 4 hex-screws-B to remove the [A]-P.C.Board.
2. Remove 3 screws-C (T3x6),2 screws-D (M3x6) and 2 hex-screws-E to remove the
[J]-P.C.Board, then release the 4 hooks to remove the AV panel.

1. Loosen 3 screws-A to remove the lamp.
2. Remove 5 screws-B(T3x8) to remove the lighting assy.
3. Remove 3 screws-C (T2.5x8) to remove optical shield
and Iris assy.
4. Remove 2 screws-D (T3x8) to remove the fan&duct assy.

When removing the iris assy, take the
iris with its blades closed. When turning
the gear on the iris in the arrow direc-
tion, the blades of iris will be closed. Do
not touch the blades bacause they are
precious parts.
