3. Select the model number of the projector.
4. Select [Setting] of [Option] menu, then select connection method and enter the setting information of the projector.
• Select [SERIAL] and set up the Serial Port, Baudrate and Parity of the PC.
• Select [LAN] and set up the IP address, Username, Password and Command Port of the projector.
5. The status and runtime of each LD unit will be displayed by clicking the [Get Information] button.

• If the Username and Password has been changed, please select serial terminal connection.
When the open failure occurred, the text characters
becomes red. In addition, "NG" is displayed on sta-
tus.

6. Click the [Reset] button corresponding to the replaced LD unit No.
7. If the LD unit number to be reset in the confirmation window is correct, click the [OK] button.

8. When the reset completion window is displayed, click the [OK] button.
Confirm that the runtime of LD unit is "0h" and status is "OK".

The error information is stored in the memory if the projector turn on in the state of disconnecting of LD unit connectors.
In this case, to clear the error status by using the LDResetTool. (Runtime is not reset.)
1. Start up service software [LDRestTool.exe] with the same procedure of "1. 9. LD unit runtime reset", and click the [Get
Information] button to display the each LD unit status.
2. Click the [LD Status Reset] button and when the confirmation window is displayed, and then click the [OK] button.

• After completing the reset, turn off the main power, turn on the power again, and check that runtime with
the [STATUS] screen.

3. Completion window is displayed, and click the [OK] button. Confirm the status is "OK".
• After completing the reset, turn off the main power, turn on the power again, and check that LD status with
the [STATUS] screen.
1.11. Shutter counter reset

When replacing the mechanical shutter, initialize the shutter opening/closing count.
1. Enter the service mode, and select sub menu [INITIALIZE] of [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu.
2. Input the security password and press the [ENTER] button.
3. Press [ a ][ s ] button to select [SHUTTER COUNTER] and press the [ENTER] button.
4. A confirmation window is displayed, select [OK] and press the [ENTER] button.
5. Make sure that the shutter counter on self check screen is "0".
