This function is correct the position shift of the three primary colors of red, green, and blue in the projected image in pixels
electrically. There are 2 types of adjustment method.
1. Project the internal crosshatch pattern and check the misalignment of red, green, and blue colors.
2. Enter the service mode, and select submenu [ELECTRICAL CONVERGENCE] of [EXTRA OPTION].
3. Select the color to adjust, and press the [ENTER] button.
4. Adjust by shifting to vertical direction with [ a ][ s ] button and horizontal direction with [ q ][ w ] button.
5. After completing the alignment, exit the adjustment mode by pressing [MENU] button. The setting value will be stored at
this time.
1. Project the internal crosshatch pattern and check the misalignment of red, green, and blue colors.
2. Select submenu [CONVERGENCE] of main menu [POSITION] then press [ q ][ w ] button to switch the item [ON] and
press the [ENTER] button. (When set to [OFF], the convergence function is disabled.)
3. Press [ a ][ s ] button to select the color to adjust, and press the [ENTER] button.
• When adjusting in the service mode, the edge of the projection screen will be missing.
• User mode adjustment is a temporary adjustment function until mechanical convergence adjustment is
performed. Since the geometry correction circuit is used, the picture quality may degrade.

4. Press [ a ][ s ] button to select the adjustment position and adjustment direction, and press [ q ][ w ] button to adjust.
5. After completing the alignment, exit the adjustment mode by pressing [MENU] button.

Use the Blue color as a reference and align Red and Green colors onto it mechanically.

Set to " 0 " for adjustment value of [ELECTRICAL CONVERGENCE] in advance.
1. Project the internal crosshatch pattern and check the misalignment of red, green, and blue colors.
2. Enter the service mode, and select submenu [MECHANICAL CONVERGENCE] of [EXTRA OPTION].
3. Select color to adjust and press the [ENTER] button. The adjustment procedure will be displayed on the screen.
• Perform the [ELECTRICAL CONVERGENCE] adjustment of service mode usually, because advanced skills are
necessary for the adjustment.

1 Loosen the four DMD plate fixing screws of the color to be adjusted by 45-degree turn.
• Tool used: Hex wrench (diagonal 2.0 mm)
• After completing the adjustment, press the [ENTER] button to next step.
2 Adjust the horizontal position by turning the H adjustment screw.
• Tool used: Hex wrench (diagonal 1.5 mm)
• After completing the adjustment, press the [ENTER] button to next step.

3 Adjust the vertical position by turning two V adjustment screws in the same direction.
• Tool used: Hex wrench (diagonal 1.5 mm)
• After completing the adjustment, press the [ENTER] button to next step.
4 Adjust the tilt by turning two V adjustment screws in the opposite direction.
• Tool used: Hex wrench (diagonal 1.5 mm)
• After completing the adjustment, press the [ENTER] button to next step.
5 Repeat steps 2 to 4, until the green and red lines converge properly.
6 After completing the adjustment, tighten 4 fixed screws on the DMD plate.
