5. 4. Log data acquisition procedure using USB memory

 Log information can be saved to the USB memory attached to the USB terminal.
5. 4. 1. Equipment to be used
  1. USB memory : Use it for the log data save.  (FAT16 or FAT32 formatted, USB 2.0 compatible)
  2. Computer : Use it for the log data display.
  3. Service tools : LogTool.exe [Ver. 2.1.0.5~]   Download from the projector service website.
5. 4. 2. Save of log data
  1. Insert the USB memory all the way in to the projector USB terminal.
    • The USB memory can be attached even when the projector is turned on.
  2. Turn on the projector and enter the service mode, and display the [EXTRA OPTION] menu.
  3. Select [SAVE LOG] and press the <ENTER> button, the confirmation window will appear.
  4. Select [OK] and press the <ENTER> button, save the log information to the USB memory.
    • Destination to save
      Create a “[model name] _ [serial number] _LOG” folder directly under root.
     • File name
      File name “LOG_ [year/month/day] _ [time].bin” is generated from the saved date and time information.
  5. When saving is complete, remove the USB memory after confirming that the indicator on the USB memory is not blinking.

  1. Connect the USB memory that saved log data to the computer.
  2. Start up service software [LogTool.exe] with a computer.
  3. Check mark the [Offline] and click the [Next] button.
  4. Click the [Load from file] button.
  5. Select the log file saved in the USB memory and click the [Open] button.

5. 5. Self-diagnosis information acquisition by control commands
5. 5. 1. Self-diagnosis query command
  fUse the command "QVX:ERRS1" to get the information of Self-diagnosis.
    The response string provides the 512bit, and the first bit 0 starts from right and it ends by 511th bit at left. 
    The response value of each bit, "N" indicates normal and "E" indicates error status.
    Refer to the "System log error code table" for the details of each bit.
 
5. 5. 2. Error code query command
  fUse the command "QVX:ERRS2" to get the error code directly.
    The response value indicates an error code (Undefined length, maximum 10 codes).
     Display in order of F group, H group, U group, and In the case of the same groups, they are displayed in ascending 
numerical order.
  6. The saved log information is decoded and displayed in the service tool.
