4.7. Removing I/F Board (SCSI Board)
 1. Make sure the Power is OFF.
 2. Remove I/F Board (SCSI Board). (See 8.4.3)
4.8. Installing DIMM Module
(1) Insert the DIMM Module into the connector on the I/F Board
(SCSI Board), and raise the tabs at the both ends of the
connector until they lock into place.

4.9. Installing the I/F Board (SCSI Board)
(1) Insert the I/F Board (SCSI Board) into the scanner along the
rails and push it in firmly unit it connects to the MOTHER
Board.
(2) Tighten all the screws.

4.10. Connecting the Unit to a Personal Computer
Note
*AC cord shown on the figure is for AC100-120V.
Caution
Set the Power Switch on the scanner and on the personal computer to OFF before connecting the interface cable. Use
only the AC Cord that is supplied by manufacturer.
4.11. System Requirements
When using the scanner, the required personal computer conditions are as follows.
CPU
Pentium 266MHz or higher (Pentium
, 1GHz processor or higher is recommended.)
Memory
64 MB or higher (128 MB or higher is recommended.)
OS
Windows 95 / Windows 98 / Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows Me
I/F Board (SCSI Board)
Adaptec Board SCSI card AHA2940UW / 29160 / 39160 Series are recommended.
*The scanning speed differs depending on the personal computer’s operating environment or application.
