(Fig.7.2.2) Cleaning Position
C1: Clean the dirt off each surface with Roller Cleaning Paper (Model No. KV-SS03).

After Cleaning
(1) Close the ADF Door slowly until it clicks into place.
(2) Install the Feed Tray. (See 4.2.1.)
(3) Plug the AC Adaptor into the scanner, and then push the
Power Switch to turn on the scanner.

Replacing Limited Life Parts
7.3.1.
Paper Feed Roller
(1) Push the Power Switch, and then unplug the AC Adaptor from
the scanner to turn off the scanner. (See 7.2.1.)

(2) Remove the Feed Tray. (See 7.2.1.)
(3) Push the Door Open Button to open the ADF Door.

(4) After opening the Paper Feed Roller Cover, remove the

left (as seen from the back), and close the Paper Feed
Roller Cover.

Double-feed Prevention Roller
(1) Remove the Feed Tray. (See 7.2.1.)

(3) Open the Double-feed Prevention Roller Cover in the
direction of the arrow, holding the Double-feed Prevention
Roller so as not to drop it.

(5) Take a new Double-feed Prevention Roller out of the
Roller Exchange Kit (KV-SS058).

metal holder with the longer groove on the right side
(as seen form the back), and close the Double-feed
Prevention Roller Cover.
