General product information:
The equipment under test is a portable stereo audio and speakerphone system. Its function is to provide
audio amplification from audio devices equipped with Bluetooth capabilities or audio input jack.
The Equipment consists of a plastic enclosure with 4 speakers, printing wiring boards, low voltage LED’s, 1
USB port (for charging external device), one 3.5mm mini-jack stereo connector, a 12V input power
connector and a secondary push button for power. The Equipment under test also consists of a battery
compartment that can hold up to 4 AA Alkaline type batteries as an alternative source for powering up the
Unit. The AA batteries will not recharge while in the unit. The equipment does not use battery power when it
is powered up with AC power.
Power from the internal batteries (4 x AA alkaline) complies with requirements for a limited power source.
Maximum recommended ambient (Tmra): 50°C
Connection to the supply: Powered by a separately certified external LPS power supply.
1.1.2 - Additional requirements:
Exposure to extreme temperatures, excessive dust, moisture or vibration; to flammable gases; to corrosive
or explosive atmospheres:
This equipment is intended to operate in a "normal" environment (Offices and homes).
Electromedical equipment connected to the patient:
This equipment is not an electromedical equipment intended to be physically connected to a patient.
