7) After setting the picture frame, if the [End] button is clicked,

“6. Picture Frame Setting (All White Frame)” is executed. The
following messages are displayed in the order given below
during the execution. Then, set the picture frame in accordance
with the messages.

8) After the setting, if the [OK] button is clicked, the adjustment

items from “7. AWB Standard Data Input” to “9. AWB Adj.”
are executed. During the execution, the following messages
are displayed in the order given below. Place or remove the
filters on the lens in accordance with the messages.

9) Upon successful completion of the “9. AWB Adj.”, the follow-

ing message is displayed. Then, change the chart in accordance
with the message.

10) If the [OK] button is clicked, the adjustment items “10. Color

Reproduction Adj.” and “11. Color Reproduction Check (In-
door HD)” are executed. The following messages are displayed
in order, and then operate the vectorscope to make a check
with the color reproduction frame in accordance with the mes-
sage.

13) After the checking of the Outdoor HD mode, “14. Color Re-

production Check (Outdoor SD)” is executed. The following
messages are displayed in order, and then operate the
vectorscope to make a check with the color reproduction frame
in accordance with the message.

11) After the checking of the Indoor HD mode, “12. Color Repro-

duction Check (Indoor SD)” is executed. The following mes-
sages are displayed in order, and then operate the vectorscope
to make a check with the color reproduction frame in accor-
dance with the message.

12) After the checking of the Indoor SD mode, “13. Color Repro-

duction Check (Outdoor HD)” is executed. The following mes-
sages are displayed in order, and then operate the vectorscope
to make a check with the color reproduction frame in accor-
dance with the message.

Perform readjustment after the power is supplied for sev-
eral minutes, if “White Defect Adjustment” failed.

[Automatic Adjustment Program execution items and
sequence]
1. Data Setting during Camera Adj.
2. HS White Defect Adj.
3. White Defect Adj.
4. White Defect Adj. (FD white point)
5. White Defect Check
6. Black Defect Adj.
7. Release of Data Setting during Camera Adj.

[Adjusting method]
1) Click the [Start] button of the CAMERA Adjustment 5.
2) The Automatic Adjustment Program executes “1. Data Setting

during Camera Adj.”.

3) If “1. Data Setting during Camera Adj.” completed success-

fully, and the items from “2. HS White Defect Adj.” to “5.
White Defect Check” will be executed.

4) If “5. White Defect Check” completed successfully, the fol-

lowing message is displayed. Set the subject in accordance
with the message.

5) Click the [OK] button, and the “6. Black Defect Adj.” will be

executed.

6) Upon completion of “6. Black Defect Adj.”, “7. Release of

Data Setting during Camera Adj.” is executed.

7) Upon successful completion of all items of the CAMERA Ad-

justment 5, the following message is displayed. Click the [OK]
button.

14) Upon successful completion of the “14. Color Reproduction

Check (Outdoor SD)”, the following message is displayed.
Then, change the chart in accordance with the message.

15) After the setting, if the [OK] button is clicked, the adjustment

items “15. AWB Check” is executed. During the execution,
the following messages are displayed in the order given be-
low. Place or remove the filters on the lens in accordance with
the messages, and check that the luminance point settles in the
circle.

16) Upon completion of “15. AWB Check”, the following mes-

sage is displayed during the execution of “16. Picture Frame
Setting (Center Frame)”. Set the subject in accordance with
the message, and then check the size of clear chart shot on the
monitor screen.

17) After the checking, if the [OK] button in the message window

is clicked, “17. MAX GAIN Adj.” is executed.

18) Upon successful completion of the “17. MAX GAIN Adj.”,

“18. Release of Data Setting during Camera Adj.” is executed.

19) Upon successful completion of all items of the CAMERA

Adjustment 4, the following message is displayed. Click the
[OK] button.

[Automatic Adjustment Program execution items and

3. Release of Data Setting during Camera Adj.

[Adjusting method]
1) Click the [Start] button of the CAMERA Adjustment 7.
2) The Automatic Adjustment Program executes “1. Data Setting

during Camera Adj.”.

3) Upon successful completion of the “1. Data Setting during

Camera Adj.”, the following message is displayed.
With the camcoder in stationary state, click the [OK] button.

4) If the [OK] button is clicked, “2. Steady Shot Check” is ex-

ecuted.
Upon successful completion of the “2. Steady Shot Check”,
the following message is displayed. Check that the steadyshot
function operates normally in accordance with the message.

5) If the [OK] button is clicked, “3. Release of Data Setting dur-

ing Camera Adj.” is executed.

6) Upon successful completion of all items of the CAMERA

Adjustment 7, the following message is displayed. Click the
[OK] button.

“CAMERA Adjustment 6” is available only once after the
power is turned on. If the adjustment is retried, turn off the
power and turn on again.

[Automatic Adjustment Program execution items and
sequence]
1. Data Setting during Camera Adj.
2. Strobe Light Level Adj.
3. Strobe White Balance Adj.
4. Release of Data Setting during Camera Adj.

[Adjusting method]
1) Click the [Start] button of the CAMERA Adjustment 6.
2) The Automatic Adjustment Program executes “1. Data Setting

during Camera Adj.”.

3) Upon successful completion of the “1. Data Setting during

Camera Adj.”, the following message is displayed. Set the sub-
ject in accordance with the message.
(For the Flash adjustment box, refer to “4. Preparing the Flash
Adjustment Box” (see page 6-6).)

4) Press the [OK]  button, and the items “2. Strobe Light Level

Adj.” and “3. Strobe White Balance Adj.” will be executed.

5) Upon completion of “3. Strobe White Balance Adj.”, “4. Re-

lease of Data Setting during Camera Adj.” is executed

6) Upon successful completion of all items of the CAMERA Ad-

justment 6, the following message is displayed. Click the [OK]
button.
