Note:
Install the zoom rubber, facing the chamfered side to the mount.

1.
Break off the zoom brush to separate into the brush part and the cover part.
2.
Set the assy to the Tele end.
3.
Place the Brush part (Zoom Brush) at the reference point and fix it with the brush tape.
4.
Place the Cover part (Zoom Brush) and fix it with the setting tape B.
5.
Perform the check/adjustment of zoom brush position.
Note:
For check/adjustment, refer to [4-7. ZOOM BRUSH POSITION CHECK/ADJUSTMENT].

Grease (G-48): J-6082-669-A
1.
Apply the grease (G-36) and (G-48) to the indicated portions of zoom ring assy.
2.
Apply the grease (G-36) to the zoom linkage coma B by dipping.
3.
Set the zoom of main assy to Wide and the focus to the infinity end.
4.
Adjust the zoom linkage post to the hole on the zoom ring assy and secure the zoom linkage coma B with a screw.
5.
Thread the zoom linkage coma B through the specified hole of zoom ring assy and fix it with screws.
6.
Confirm that the zoom moves smoothly.
