Align the Step with the Focus Lens Sliding Groove and install the Lens Block to the Feed-Through Cam Tube.
Engage the Projections of the Cam Tube (B) Assy and the Straight Tube (B) with the eleven Grooves of the Feed-Through Cam Tube.
Turn the Naruto Gear jig clockwise to set the Main body at TELE end.
Note: Turn the Naruto Gear jig to the maximum.

Connect one Flexible Board to the Connector.
Fix the three Bosses and a Convex on the Flexible Board, and then solder the Flexible Board at four locations.
Stick Adhesive Tape.
Apply a voltage of 2.5 V to the DC Motor and retract the Lens.

Preparation
• Camera installed re-assemble lens.
• Chart (Printed PDF file at the same magnification) (Refer to <Reference>)

Shoot setting
(1) Paste the chart.
• Chart should be on the flat wall.
• Illuminance level in the chart should be the same.
• Make the tripod’s height and the center of the chart to the same height.
• Enough space needed for shooting.
(2) Set the camera.
• Set [P] mode
• Set [Maximum] size
• Set ISO lowest level
• Set Steady Shot [OFF]
• Set Flash [OFF]
(3) Set the camera on a tripod.
(4) Adjust the position of the camera and the chart.
1. Set the zoom position of the camera at Wide end.
2. Attach the mirror onto the center of the chart.
* The mirror should not tilt on the chart.
3. Set the camera to display the chart on LCD like in the following picture.

* Adjust the tripod height and the position (Lateral direction).
5. Adjust the camera angle to the frame of the chart with tripod.
Remove the mirror.

• Make sure that the flat cable and flexible board are not cracked
of bent at the terminal.

• When remove a connector, don’t pull at wire of connector. It is

DISCHARGING OF THE CHARGING CAPACITOR (C901/C902)
The charging capacitor is charged up to the maximum 315 V
potential.
There is a danger of electric shock by this high voltage when the
capacitor is handled by hand. The electric shock is caused by the
charged voltage which is kept without discharging when the main
power of the unit is simply turned off. Therefore, the remaining
voltage must be discharged as described below.
