If any of the following parts was replaced, execute the “Flicker 
Adjustment” as mentioned below.
•  CHASSIS MAIN ASSY (Including MAIN board)
•  FRONT PANEL ASSY (Including LCD module, Touch panel)
•  COMPLETE KEY BOARD

Preparation:
•  Remote commander (RM-X170)

FLICKER  ADJUSTMENT
1.  Turn the power on, and perform the aging more than fi ve min-

utes.

2.  In the state of source off (Home screen is displayed), pressing 

the buttons on the remote commander in order of the [4] 

→ [5] 

→ [4] (press only the [4] button for two seconds).

 

The test mode 4 starts, and the following screen is displayed on 
the monitor.

 

(Displayed colors/values in the following fi gure are example)

TEST  4

3. Press the [B] button on the remote commander to set the 

“PAT_SEL:9”.

4. Press the [b] button on the remote commander to set the 

“SWAP:0”.

5.  Press the [V] or [v] button on the remote commander to adjust 

so that the fl icker becomes minimum in the sight.

 

(There is a point most suitable in the range of VCOM:045 to 
VCOM:090)

 

The relation between the fl icker and the adjustment value has 
the characteristic such as the following fi gure.

6.  Press the [PUSH SOURCE/ DSPL] (XAV-W600) or [PUSH 

SOURCE/ VOICE] (XAV-W650BT) button on the main unit, 
and turn the power off.

Note:
•  -XX and -X mean standardized parts, so 

they may have some difference from the 
original one.

•  Items marked “*” are not stocked since 

they are seldom required for routine ser-
vice. Some delay should be anticipated 
when ordering these items.

•  The mechanical parts with no reference 

number in the exploded views are not sup-
plied.

•  Color Indication of Appearance Parts Ex-

ample:

Note 1: When the VOL knob assy (Ref. No. NFC1) is re-

placed, Bluetooth information writing is necessary. 
Refer to “BLUETOOTH INFORMATION WRIT-
ING METHOD” on page 7. (XAV-W650BT only)

Note 2: When the complete KEY board (Ref. No. 3) and 

front panel assy (Ref. No. FP1) are replaced, refer to 
“FLICKER ADJUSTMENT” on page 25.

The components identifi ed by mark 0 
or dotted line with mark 0 are critical for 
safety.
Replace only with part number specifi ed.
