Место монтажа кабеля переключателя 
стояночного тормоза зависит от вашего 
автомобиля.
Необходимо подключить провод 
стояночного тормоза (светло-зеленый) 
кабеля питания ʓ к проводу переключателя

Подсоединение для поддержки 
памяти

Когда к устройству подсоединен желтый провод 
питания, блок памяти будет постоянно получать 
питание, даже при выключенном зажигании.

Подключение громкоговорителей

ˎ Перед подключением громкоговорителей 

выключите устройство.

ˎ Во избежание повреждений используйте 

громкоговорители с полным сопротивлением 
4–8 Ом и соответствующей предельно 
допустимой мощностью.

Подключение монитора

При установке монитора для заднего сиденья 
подключите его кабель переключателя 
стояночного тормоза к проводнику заземления.

Проверьте разъем вспомогательного питания 
автомобиля и правильно распределите 
соединения проводов (в зависимости от типа 
автомобиля).

После проверки соответствия соединений и 
проводов импульсного источника 
электропитания подключите устройство к 
автомобильному контуру электропитания. В 
случае возникновения каких-либо вопросов или 
проблем, связанных с подключением 
устройства, которые не рассматриваются в 
настоящем руководстве, обратитесь за советом 
к дилеру автомобильной фирмы.

Установка

Сведения о том, как установить устройство в 
автомобиле японского производства, см. в 
разделе “Установка устройства в автомобиле 
японского производства” (стр. 31).

Установка устройства с помощью 
монтажного комплекта (не входит в 
комплект поставки)

Перед установкой убедитесь, что фиксаторы с 
обеих сторон кронштейна согнуты вовнутрь на 
3,5 мм.

Установка устройства в приборной 
панели

Перед использованием необходимо установить 
соединительный кабель RC-SR1 (не входит в 
комплект поставки).

Для включения дистанционного управления на 
руле выберите пункты [Общие настройки] q 
[Пользовательский], чтобы выполнить 
регистрацию (стр. 13).
По завершении регистрации включится 
дистанционное управление на руле.

ˎ Изучите дополнительные сведения на веб-сайтах 

поддержки, указанных на задней стороне 
обложки, а затем правильно соедините друг с 
другом все провода. Если неправильно 
подключить провода, это может привести к 
повреждению устройства.

ˎ Рекомендуется обратиться за помощью к дилеру 

или опытному специалисту.

Чтобы включить проводной пульт 
дистанционного управления, в разделе [Общие 
настройки] для параметра [Упр. на руле] 
установите значение [Предустановок] (стр. 13).

Перед использованием камеры заднего вида (не 
входит в комплект поставки) необходимо 
установить ее.
Изображение с камеры заднего вида, 
подключенной к разъему CAMERA IN, 
отображается в указанных ниже случаях.

ˋ Светится фонарь заднего хода автомобиля 

(либо рычаг переключения передач 
установлен в положение R — задний ход).

ˋ Вы нажали кнопку HOME, а затем коснулись 

значка [Кам. задн. в.].

ˋ Вы нажали и удерживали кнопку DSPL, а 

затем выбрали пункт [Кам. задн. в.].

Установка устройства в автомобиле 
японского производства

Возможно, вам не удастся установить 
устройство в некоторые автомобили японского 
производства. В этом случае обратитесь к 
дилеру Sony.

При установке данного устройства на 
предварительно установленный в автомобиль 
кронштейн вставьте входящие в комплект 
поставки винты ʔ в соответствующие отверстия 
для винтов в зависимости от марки вашего 
автомобиля: T для автомобилей TOYOTA, M для 
автомобилей MITSUBISHI и N для автомобилей 
NISSAN.

Чтобы избежать неполадок, для установки 
устройства используйте только входящие в 
комплект поставки винты ʔ.

При замене предохранителей 
обязательно используйте только

Cautions

ˎ Run all ground (earth) leads to a common 

ˎ Do not get the leads trapped under a screw or 

caught in moving parts (e.g., seat railing).

ˎ Before making connections, turn the car ignition 

off to avoid short circuits.

ˎ Connect the yellow and red power supply leads 

only after all other leads have been connected.

ˎ Be sure to insulate any loose unconnected leads 

with electrical tape for safety.

ˎ Choose the installation location carefully so that 

the unit will not interfere with normal driving 
operations.

ˎ Avoid installing the unit in areas subject to dust, 

dirt, excessive vibration, or high temperature, 
such as in direct sunlight or near heater ducts.

ˎ Use only the supplied mounting hardware for a 

safe and secure installation.

Note on the power supply lead (yellow)
When connecting this unit in combination with other 
stereo components, the amperage rating of the car 
circuit to which the unit is connected must be higher 
than the sum of each component’s fuse amperage 
rating.

Adjust the mounting angle to less than 45°.

The mounting position of the parking brake 
switch cord depends on your car.
Be sure to connect the parking brake lead (light 
green) of the power supply connection cable ʓ 
to the parking brake switch cord.

Memory hold connection

When the yellow power supply lead is connected, 
power will always be supplied to the memory 
circuit even when the ignition switch is turned off.

Speaker connection

ˎ Before connecting the speakers, turn the unit off.

ˎ Use speakers with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms 

and with adequate power handling capacities to 
avoid damage.

Monitor connection

When installing a monitor for the rear seat, connect 
its parking brake switch cord to the ground (earth).

First connect the black ground (earth) lead, then 
connect the yellow and red power supply leads.

It is not necessary to connect this lead if there is

amplifier
This connection is only for amplifiers and a 
power antenna (aerial). Connecting any other 
system may damage the unit.

Be sure to first connect the black ground (earth) 
lead to a common ground (earth) point.

Making connections

For XAV-W650BT/

To capture your voice during handsfree calling, you 
need to install the microphone ʕ.

ˎ It is extremely dangerous if the cord becomes 

wound around the steering column or gearstick. 
Be sure to keep it and other parts from interfering 
with your driving operations.

ˎ If airbags or any other shock-absorbing 

equipment are in your car, contact the store 
where you purchased this unit, or the car dealer, 
before installation.

Note
Before attaching the double-sided tape ʖ, clean the 
surface of the dashboard with a dry cloth.

Installation of the connection cable RC-SR1 (not 
supplied) is required before use.

To enable the steering wheel remote control, select 
[General Settings] q [User Defined] to make the 
registration (page 19).
When the registration is complete, the steering 
wheel remote control becomes available.

ˎ Refer to the support sites on the back cover for 

details, then connect each lead properly to the 
appropriate leads. Making an improper connection 
may damage the unit.

ˎ Consulting the dealer or an experienced technician 

for help is recommended.

Using the wired remote control

To enable the wired remote control, set [Steering 
Control] in [General Settings] to [Preset] (page 19).

Installation of the rearview camera (not supplied) is 
required before use.
The image of a rearview camera connected to the 
CAMERA IN terminal is displayed when:

ˋ the back lamp of your car lights up (or the shift 

lever is set to the R (reverse) position).

ˋ you press HOME, then touch [Rear Camera].

ˋ you press and hold DSPL then touch [Rear 

Camera] if [SOURCE Key Func.] is set to [DSPL]

If the catches are straight or bent outwards, the unit will 
not be installed securely and may spring out.

Mounting the unit in a Japanese car

You may not be able to install this unit in some 
Japanese cars. In such a case, consult your Sony 
dealer.

When mounting this unit to the preinstalled 
brackets of your car, use the supplied screws ʔ in 
the appropriate screw holes based on your car: T 
for TOYOTA, M for MITSUBISHI and N for NISSAN.

To prevent a malfunction, install only with the supplied 
screws ʔ.

When replacing the fuse, be sure to 
use one matching the amperage 
rating stated on the original fuse. If 
the fuse blows, check the power 
connection and replace the fuse. If 
the fuse blows again after 
replacement, there may be an 
internal malfunction. In such a case, consult your 
nearest Sony dealer.
