(1) COLD RESET – page 36

COLD RESET erases data in MAIN SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC602). 
EEPROM data is not lost by COLD RESET.

(2) SHIP mode – page 36

Not to break DVD mechanism by shock while transfer, 
please set to SHIP mode before you carry the set.
In SHIP mode, DVD mechanism is locked.
When you insert a disc, SHIP mode releases automatically.

(3) PRODUCT OUT – page 36

PRODUCT OUT = COLD RESET + SHIP
This mode is used for factory shipping.
In factory, the LIFT mode is set to “LOCK mode” not to move Lift unit easily
to prevent customer’s injury.

There are total three modes for product shipment, COLD RESET, SHIP and 
PRODUCT OUT.

COLD RESET erases only the data in MAIN SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC602). 
EEPROM data is not lost by COLD RESET.

As COLD RESET erase the customer’s FM tuner setting, you don’t need to 
COLD RESET if it is not necessary for repair.

SHIP mode is same as the one explained at “On moving the system” in the 
Operating Instructions.

Please set when you carry the set to prevent DVD mechanism damage by hard 
shock.

PRODUCT OUT is used for factory shipment.

Please be noted that LIFT mode is set to “AUTO” by PRODUCT OUT operation.

To prevent the customer’s injury by LIFT operation, LIFT mode is set to LOCK 
mode manually after PRODUCT OUT operation when the set is shipped.
