The rotating of LIFT motor (M901) is checked by SUB SYSTEM 
CONTROLLER (IC901) with SPEED DETECT SENSOR (PH1251)
If LIFT motor rotating speed is too fast or slow, it is detected by SUB SYSTEM 
CONTROLLER (IC901 100pin) and shows “LIFT ERROR 01” on FL display.

There are two types of mechanical emergency.
First one is sandwiched finger and so on between TV part and LIFT unit when 
LIFT unit moves to UP.
Second one is sandwiched between LIFT unit and the ground when LIFT unit 
moves to DOWN. (Child, pet, book, etc.)
EMERGENCY STOP SW for UPPER DIRECTION (S1211, S1221) are used for 
the first emergency.
EMERGENCY STOP SW for LOWER DIRECTION (S1201-S1204) are used for 
the second emergency.
When emergency happens, “STOP” is displayed on the front panel display.
It is explained on page 79 of “Operating instructions”.
And, please be noted that the lift unit does not move when headphones are 
connected. In this case, “Unplug Headphones” will be displayed.

Lift Unit
TV block in TAV-L1 operates individually.
When LIFT unit moves UP, there is no need to show TV screen on the flat 
display.
In this case, TAV-L1 turns off the backlight of TV screen.

Please refer to Block diagram on page 52 in the Service manual.
BACKLIGHT_DET signal goes through in SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER from 
1pin to 2 pin basically.
And, PANEL_DET signal goes through in SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER 
(IC901) from 93pin to 5 pin basically.
SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER watches the condition of these signals from TV 
circuit.
When Lift unit is UP, the backlight is off.
