This is a construction of LIFT circuit.
As Lift unit is very heavy, TAV-L1 equips strong LIFT motor.
And, there is a possibility that the movement of LIFT unit leads to customer’s
injury, TAV-L1 equips many sensors to detect the mechanical operation well.

Firstly, last LIFT mode is recorded in EEPROM (IC918).
When TAV-L1 turns on, the last LIFT mode data is read from EEPROM by SUB
SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC901) and start LIFT function.

If the last LIFT mode is “MANUAL” or “LOCK”, Lift unit will not move when
TAV-L1 turns on.
TAV-L1 turns on.
If “LIFT UP/DOWN” button is detected by MAIN SYSTEM CONTROLLER
(IC602), the information is send to SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER.
(IC602), the information is send to SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER.
If LIFT mode is changed by the customer in AMP MENU control operation, the
backup data in EEPROM will be overwritten when the set turns off.

LIFT ERROR 02
Next, SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER checks the stop position of LIFT unit with
the sensors.
the sensors.
There are two sensors in UP part and two sensors in DOWN part.
One sensor is for detecting of movement stop position and another one is for the
point of LIFT motor slow down.

If there is a problem in sensors, SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER doesn’t start to
rotate LIFT MOTOR and shows “LIFT ERROR 02” on FL display.

LIFT ERROR 03
Depends on the LIFT unit position and mode setting, SUB SYSTEM
CONTROLLER (IC901) determine LIFT unit target position.
CONTROLLER (IC901) determine LIFT unit target position.
Then, SUB SYSTEM CONTROLLER outputs the driving signals of LIFT motor
to LIFT MOTOR DRIVER (IC916).
to LIFT MOTOR DRIVER (IC916).
MO_PHASE (IC901 88pin) and MO_ENABLE (IC901 22pin) controls rotating
speed and direction.
speed and direction.
MO_SR (IC901 89pin) and MO_MODE(IC901 91pin) controls brake timing.
If LIFT MOTOR DRIVER has a problem, it is detected by SUB SYSTEM
CONTROLLER (IC901 100pin) and shows “LIFT ERROR 03” on FL display.
CONTROLLER (IC901 100pin) and shows “LIFT ERROR 03” on FL display.
Please refer to Error code table on page 6 of Service manual.
Next, LIFT MOTOR DRIVER outputs motor driving current to LIFT MOTOR
ON/OFF SW (IC917) and LIFT motor (M901).
ON/OFF SW (IC917) and LIFT motor (M901).
Then, M901 starts to rotate and LIFT unit moves finally.
