4-3. Checking method for repair

The operation checking method is introduced in SERVICING NOTES on HCD-
X1 service manual.

If the customer claims about S-FORCE PRO FRONT SURROUND function, 
please setup the speaker position well and play track No.1 of the setup disk which 
is supplied in the set.
(The part number of setup disk is introduced in ACCESSORIES on DAV-X1 
service manual.)

If you can hear the virtual rear sound  well, there is no failure in the set.
It may be setup problem of speaker setup and so on.

For the FOCUS/WIDE mode checking, please change the listening position and 
check it by ear.
