1. Remove the terminal cover and the system cable cover.
2. Remove the table stand fixing screws (6 pcs.).
3. Remove the cabinet B fixing screws (16 pcs.) and detach the cabinet. Detach the connectors from the cabinet

B operation PWB.

4. Release the wire holders at 5 locations and the clamp at 4 locations. Also peel off the tapes at 2 locations to

detach the connection cables.

5. Detach the connector from each PWB.
6. Disconnect the earth cable from the main power supply PWB.
7. Remove the earth lead wire fixing screw (1 pc.) in the power supply socket.

8. Remove the reinforcement plate fixing screws (12 pcs.) and detach the reinforcement plate (center).
9. Remove the main PWB fixing screws (5 pcs.).
10. Remove the main power supply PWB fixing screws (4 pcs.)
11. Remove the amplifier PWB fixing screws (4 pcs.).
12. Remove the DC/DC PWB fixing screws (4 pcs.).
13. Remove the lamp PWB 1 and lamp PWB 2 fixing screws (2 pcs. each).
14. Remove the lamp GND PWB fixing screws (2 pcs.).
15. Remove the remote control receiver PWB fixing screws (2 pcs.).
16. Remove the reinforcement plate S fixing screws (4 pcs. each for right and left), and detach the LCD unit.

LCD panel handling precautions
1. Perform the job in clean environment. (Min. RH 50%)
2. Make sure workers wear the anti-static armband.
3. Perform the job on conductive mattress.
4. Handle carefully not to drop or give impacts or vibrations.

17. Remove the LCD unit front fixing screws (4 pcs.), and detach the LCD unit.
18. Remove the fixing angle fitting screws (3 pcs. at left and 2 pcs. at right) and the fixing angle L (bottom)

fitting screws (4 pcs.). Remove the ITO earth (top) and detach from the lamp base each of the
diffusion plate, ITO sheet, the diffusion sheet and the reflective polarization plate.

19. Remove the lamp reflectors at both right and left sides.
20. Remove the fluorescent lamps (12 pcs.).
21. Release the lamp clips, and detach one reflection sheet.

1. Remove the top cabinet fixing screws (4 pcs.) from right and left sides and those (5 pcs.) from the rear side.
2. Remove the front terminal cover fixing screws (2 pcs.), and disconnect the cable connecting the front terminal

PWB and the main PWB.

3. Disengage the front terminal cover fixing tabs at 3 locations on top, one location each at right and left sides,

and 2 locations at bottom.

4. Remove the rear terminal cover fixing screws (4 pcs.), and detach the cover.
5. Remove the shield plate fixing screws (5 pcs.). (Among the five screws, two are used also to fix the power

supply PWB fixing angle.)

6. Remove the power supply PWB fixing screws (4 pcs.), detach the connectors from the power supply PWB and

the main PWB, and then remove the power supply PWB.

7. Remove the rear terminal PWB fixing screws.

7-1. Remove the fixing screws (2 pcs.) from the dedicated display output terminal.
7-2. Remove the hexagonal shaft (2 pcs.) fixing the control terminal.
7-3. Remove the hexagonal shaft (2 pcs.) fixing the PC input terminal.

8. Remove the fixing screws (3 pcs.) to detach the main PWB, the rear terminal PWB and the PC I/F PWB. When

detaching the rear terminal PWB, lift up the front part of PWB and pull out the PWB terminals from the terminal
slots.

9. Remove the front terminal PWB fixing screws (3 pcs.), and detach the PWB.
