Color system setting
1. Feed the PAL video signal.
1. If “PAL” is not found in the last part of the 1st line,
press [ 5 ] key of the remote controller to switch to
“PAL”.

PAL BRIGHT
adjustment
1. Feed the color bar signal
carrying PAL composite
100% white and 0% white
(pedestal black).
(Example)
1. Adjust (P3L1) C PAL BRIGHT, so that the pedestal
black portion has the largest green area. If there is
no change against lowering the value, it is likely that
the adjustment point (“a” in the figure below) is
deviated from the correct point. In this case, once try
to increase the adjustment value.

1. Hook up the oscilloscope at
TP2851.
2. Feed the monochrome
gradation signal.
* It is also acceptable to use
black and white portion at
the bottom of the color bar
signal.  (Refer to the signal
exemplified in the item 4
below.)  Same adjustment
can be done as described
in the right.
1. Adjust (P4L1) BELL F0, so that the level “a” is
minimized.
