Dolby Virtual
You can enjoy the SURROUND 2ch stereo with Dolby Pro Logic II technology.
VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND is a technology certified by Dolby Laboratories that creates a virtualized surround sound
experience from two speakers using Dolby Pro Logic or Dolby Pro Logic II.
VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND retains all the original multichannel audio information and provides the listener with the
sensation of being surrounded by additional speakers.
Setting the VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND on the Menu screen
NOTE
te:e:
• VIRTUAL DOLBY SURROUND does not work when sound is
output from the headphones.
• When OUT is selected in AV3 IN/OUT setting, VIRTUAL
DOLBY SURROUND does not work.
• When “on” is selected in the Dolby Virtual setting, you
cannot adjust “Balance”.
• For some discs, setup may be required on your DVD. In this
case, please refer to the operation manual of your DVD
player.

Perform the procedure below to search for and store new programmes after
the First Installation routine.
Press MENU to display the TV menu.
Press a/b  to select “Programmes”, and then
press OK to display the “Programmes”
screen.
Press a/b to select  “Automatic search”, and
then press OK to display the “Automatic
search” screen.
Press a/b to select the desired item, and
then press OK.
Press c/d to select the desired item.
Press a/b to select “Store progr. from”, and
then press OK to display the “Store progr.
from” screen.
Press a/b and/or c/d to select the
programme position from which the
programmes are to be stored, and then press
OK.
Press a/b to select “Start search”, and then
press OK to begin the automatic programme
search.
After the search is completed, press END to
exit.
