Common Interface
A single DVB Common Interface (CI) will be implemented to allow adoption of a Conditional Access (CA)
system by means of a plug-in CA module.
Scrambled Broadcasting service can be routed via the CA system.
If the CA system on the CI module requires a smart-card reader, this reader shall be part of the CI module.

When the compatible CA card is inserted, you can view the
programme without any operations.
When the compatible card is not inserted:
1 Select the programme which needs the compatible
CA card.
• The caution screen appears
2 Insert the compatible CA card.
• The caution screen disappears and you can view
the programme.

• The menus can be used to adjust the various settings of your LCD TV set.
Select the desired menu item by following the steps below.
Selecting menu items (Analogue)
 Using TV Menus
 Using Direct Control Menu
Press MENU on the main unit to display the
TV menu.
Press CH s/r to select the desired menu
item.
• The cursor moves up or down.
• The cursor indicates the selected menu item.
Press TV/VIDEO to display the setting screen
for the selected menu item.
• Press TV/VIDEO again to adjust the selected
item.
Press il/k to make the adjustment.
Press MENU to return to the previous screen.
• Each time MENU is pressed, you will return to
the previous screens.
NOTE
te:
• The items displayed differ depending on the setting conditions.
• The item selected is displayed in yellow.
• The adjustment values and settings which were changed before the screen is restored are
saved as is in the memory.
