MX-ST10  OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTIONS  3 - 4
7.  Side jogger control
The side of paper discharged to the stack tray is aligned.
Initial operation
The home position is 3.5mm shifted from when turning ON the home sensor for every discharge in the home sensor direction. If the
series of operations will not be terminated within 1000msec, it is judged as an abnormality.
Operation in paper pass
• Jogger standby position
Front offset side: Front jogger; 5mm away from discharged paper. Rear jogger; 10.5mm away from discharged paper.
Rear offset side: Rear jogger; 5mm away from discharged paper. Front jogger; 10.5mm away from discharged paper.
• Jogger pull-in position
Front offset side: Front jogger, 5mm away from discharged paper which is shifted by 10mm. Rear jogger; 25mm away.
Rear offset side: Rear jogger; 5mm away from discharged paper which is shifted by 10mm. Front jogger; 25mm away.

8.  Lead edge jogger control
The vertical line of paper discharged to the stack tray is aligned.
Initial operation
The home position is 4.5mm shifted from when turning ON the home sensor for every discharge in the home sensor direction.
If the series of operations will not be terminated within 2700msec, it is judged as an abnormality.
Operation in paper pass
When a job in the stack mode is started, the jogger is shifted to the standby position.
When paper is fed to the stacker, it is shifted to the pull-in position, and then shifted to the standby position again.
When a job in the stack mode is ended, it is shifted to the pull-in position. The stroke length of the lead edge jogger is 8mm, and the
returning and going speeds are 139mm/sec.
Distance from the home to the wall: 491mm

9.  Stack tray control
When paper is loaded and the tray is lowered to the carrier pull-out position, it mounts on the carrier, enabling pulling out of the tray on
the carrier.
The arm-shape elevator which is suspended by four wires is driven by the tray motor, moving up and down. The tray is on the elevator.
The operation range of the elevator (tray) of from the tray home sensor position (upper limit) to the carrier pull-out position sensor posi-
tion (lower limit).
Initial operation
The tray is moved down by 3mm from the home sensor OFF position, and lifted until the home sensor is turned ON.
Operation in paper pass
The tray is moved down by 1.5mm every time when 5 sheets of paper are fed to the stack tray.
Stack full detection
When paper is loaded to the stack tray and it is moved down to the tray full position and 5 sheets of paper are fed to the tray, stack tray
full is detected. All paper is removed from the stack tray and the front door is closed and the tray is returned to the home position, stack
full is cancelled.
Large curl detection
When paper loaded in the stack tray is detected by the sideway beam sensor upper and the traverse beam sensor, it is judged as tray full
in order to prevent against degraded stack capability. When all paper is removed from the stack tray and the front door is closed and the
tray is returned to the home position, large curl detection is cancelled.
