MX-ST10  OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTIONS  3 - 1
[3]  OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTIONS
1.  Paper feed out operation
Paper transported to this unit is fed out to the stack tray and the top tray.
(1) Driving rollers: Feed out motor (S1PM01)
(2) Driving rollers: Stack path exit motor (S1PM02)
(3) Driving rollers: Top path exit motor (S1PM03)
(4) Driving rollers: Feed in motor (S1PM05)
2.  Path gate solenoid operations
The feed out path of paper transported to this unit is switched to the specified exit side.

3.  Top tray paper exit
(1) Outline of paper feed out operation
Transported paper is fed out to the top side by the path gate solenoid 1 (SL01) immediately after the entrance roller, and fed out to the top
path by the path gate solenoid 2 (SL02), and fed out to the top tray. By the top path exit roller.
(2) Feed out motor start timing
The feed motor is started after reception of the paper attribute data. The top path exit motor is started by detection of the entrance sensor.
(3) Feed out speed control in top tray paper exit
Detection of the paper lead edge by the top path exit sensor triggers the paper feed out speed control.
When the paper rear edge reaches the point 10mm away from the top path exit sensor, speed reduction is started. The speed is reduced
to 200mm/sec when the paper is discharged.
The timing of paper feed out speed reduction is calculated from the timing of detection of paper by the top path exit sensor and the length
of paper which is known in advance.
(4) Feed out motor stop timing
The feed out motor is stopped when there is no paper in stacker after reception of the STANDBY signal from the main machine.
The feed motor stops when next paper is not detected by the entrance sensor within 1000msec from detection of paper by the top path
exit sensor.
The top path exit motor is stopped when next paper is not detected by the entrance sensor within 1000msec from detection of paper by
the top path exit sensor.
4.  Paper exit to the stack tray
(1) Outline of paper feed out operation
Transported paper is fed out to the stacker side by the path gate solenoid 1 (SL01) immediately after the entrance roller, and is fed out to
the stack tray by the stack feed exit roller.
(2) Feed out motor start timing
The feed motor is started after reception of the paper attribute data. The stack feed exit motor is started by detection of the entrance sen-
sor.
(3) Feed out speed control in stack tray paper exit
When the entrance sensor detects paper, acceleration is started. When the stack path exit sensor detects paper, deceleration is started,
and paper is discharged at the speed of 500mm/sec.
(4) Feed out motor stop timing
The feed out motor is stopped when there is no paper in stacker after reception of the STANDBY signal from the main machine.
The feed motor is stopped when next paper is not detected by the entrance sensor within 1000msec from detection of paper by the top
path exit sensor.
The top path exit motor is stopped when next paper is not detected by the entrance sensor within 1000msec from detection of paper by
the top path exit sensor.

5.  Bypass feed out
(1) Outline of paper feed out operation
Transported paper is fed out to the top side by the path gate solenoid 1 (SL01) immediately after the entrance roller, and fed out to the
bypath by the path gate solenoid 2 (SL02).
(2) Feed out motor start timing
The feed motor is started after reception of the paper attribute data.
(3) Feed out motor stop timing
The feed out motor is stopped when there is no paper in stacker after reception of the STANDBY signal from the main machine.
The feed motor stops when next paper is not detected by the entrance sensor within 1000msec from detection of paper by the bypass exit
sensor.
6.  Alignment operation stacker exit roller offset control
Before discharging paper to the stack tray, the stack exit roller is shifted.
Initial operation
The home position is 2mm shifted from when turning ON the offset home sensor for every discharge in the offset home sensor direction.
If the series of operations will not be terminated within 350msec, it is judged as an abnormality. After completion of the series of opera-
tions, the roller is shifted to the shift standby position.
Operation in paper pass
The initial operation is executed by a job start in the stack mode. When paper passes the entrance sensor, the offset operation is started.
The offset return operation is executed in 100msec after paper has passed the stack path exit sensor.
