All MX series machines have a coin vend interface located on the PCU Main PWB. The vending device
activates various signals to indicate paper sizes and operation.

Before connecting a third party auditor, the device should confirm to the following:-
1. The auditor interface should be optically isolated from the copier.
2. The device should be Power Supply Unit independent (plug top adaptor and not internal).
3. The plug top adapter should have a reinforced insulation barrier.
4. The audit device MUST comply & display the relevant safety approval mark (C-Tick & CE equivalent).
To enable coin vend function, test simulation 26 –03 should be set as required:-

USB MEMORY DEVICE:
1. Insert a USB memory device containing the firmware file into the main USB Port.
2. Enter Simulation 49-01.
Note: “If no USB device is detected, an error message will be displayed.
3. Using the LCD screen, browse and select the updated engine firmware file (*.sfu):-
4. The current and the updated firmware versions will be shown within the display:-
5. Select the required firmware that requires updating - Press Execute & Yes to commence the
update.
Note: If all firmware (including peripherals) require updating, select ALL (as shown):-

6. Firmware update progress (and remaining time) should now be displayed:-
7. Once the firmware update has completed successfully, select OK (MFP should reboot).

NETWORK CONNECTION (MFP WEB PAGE)
1. Open a web browser and enter the following URL :-
http://ipaddress/service_login.html or http://ipaddress/service_account.html
Example: http://192.168.0.156/service_login.html
Note: If User Authentication (username & password) is enabled, open the device webpage and
“login” using the service username and password (as below):-
2. Select/Enter the “Service” Username and Password to access the Service Webpage and click Login:-
