When the card reader is registered correctly there will be a number for the Product ID and Vendor ID 

 

When  the  card  reader  is  correctly  registered  it  can  then  be  activated  for  Authentication.  In  User 
control/Card Type Reader Settings select Use IC Card for Authentication and press submit 

 

The card is now registered on the MFP and can be used to login to the MFP. 

 

 
 

 

The users that we created above will need to have a card number assigned to them. In settings on 
the MFP screen go to User Control/User List and select a user, there will be an option for Card ID 
click on submit to enter card number. 

 

The register card screen will appear and you can press the Read button to enter a card number. 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

When the “set a card” message appears present the card to the card reader. 

 

When the card is recognized there will be a string of stars under Card ID select OK to accept the card 
number. 

 

You will need to repeat this action for all Users with the relevant card for each. 

 
 

 

 

 

You will now be able to login using the relevant card for each user
