When performing maintenance or servicing on the fusing unit, complete simultaneous 
replacement of the fusing belt and the web roller for the following reasons.

For the above models, the life of both the fusing belt and the web roller is 200K. When the life 
of the fusing belt is expired, replacing the web roller at the same time will reduce toner 
performance problems (toner stains). 

 

1. Fusing belt causing toner performance problems 

Initial: Good / End-of-life: Bad 

2. Oil supply volume of the web roller 

Initial: Little / End-of-life: Much 

As the fusing belt is used, the oil supply volume of the web roller increases, preventing toner 
problems of the belt upper. 
 
Not keeping a simultaneous maintenance cycle for the fusing belt and the web roller will cause 
the above relationship to become unsynchronized. This may result in a state where the fusing 
belt life is expiring and the web roller is in its initial state, and create the toner problems.
