Initial values of access authority and password for User and login Administrator are as 
below:

User Authority (added): Same as the existing operation which can perform on Top 
screen. 
Administrator Authority: Same as the existing administrator login authority. 
 
*Initial value of password for each authority

Administrator Authority: admin 
 
*Inheritance of the password already set up 
If the passwords for the administrator and user have already set up before updating the 
firmware, the passwords already set up will be inherited after the firmware update.   
(*Passwords for the administrator and user have already set up will not be reset.) 
 
*Enable/disable the additional features 
Those features will be enabled once this firmware is applied. 
For the setting change, those features can be switched between ON and OFF on the 
setup item of the main unit or by checking/unchecking the checkbox of “Restrict Device 
Web Page Access Via Password

” in “Security Settings” on the top page of Web page.

*If you upgrade the firmware of machines in field from ROM control No. H00 (or older) to

control if the correction amount of halftone process control largely changes from the 
previous value.

Correction of failure to log out of Vendor mode screen The problem occurs when vendor 
mode and device account mode are enabled together. The MFP fails to log out of vendor 
mode screen that Copy mode screen is displayed. 

17  Main unit control 

To improve the lines being too thin during the copy in B/W, the laser power correction 
control by developer bias has been implemented:

*Color balance adjustment needs to be performed after changing Soft SW.    Before 
updating the firmware, please return the set values already changed as the 
countermeasure for image quality to the default value, and then perform the color
