2. Symptom: 

When removing and carrying the fusing unit from the machine for maintenance or another 
similar activity, if the fusing lock lever mount is held only by the rear side and if the unit is 
suspended in this manner, weight can be applied to the fusing lock lever mount of the fusing 
lower cover. This may cause the fusing lock lever mount of the fusing lower cover to break. 

 

- Precautions when carrying the fusing unit 

When carrying the fusing unit, do not carry the fusing unit with one hand, carry the unit with 
both hands. 

 

 

 
3. Description: 

The shape of the rear side of the fusing lock lever mount on the fusing lower cover has been 
changed to help prevent breakage. 

  From mid-October 2010 production
