Machine related 

By turning the power ON, the HOME screen will go black and the machine will freeze. 
This problem has been corrected.

Machine related 

If the power is suddenly stopped to the MFP machine during printing due to black out, 
etc., this may cause the margin of error to the print volume of the first print related job 
that is recovered from 1 W power saving mode until the power is turned off normally. 
The margin of error can be a maximum of 7 pages.

If a simulation was aborted and restart the machine, it would enter sleep mode. This 
problem has been corrected.

Copy related 

Using the centering function under copy, printing in the center of the page was not 
possible. This problem has been corrected.

Copying a special document in automatic mode would result in incorrect colour. This 
problem has been corrected.

The Norwegian stamp/water mark "TIL DIN INFO." was printed as "TIL DIN INF." This

When receiving a FAX and the main power is turned OFF, after turning the power ON, 
print job queue would be "Ready" and the received data would not be output. This 
problem has been corrected.

Printer related 

When print job is set continuously, the 2nd and all jobs thereafter would, in some cases, 
be broken up and not output. This glitch has been corrected.

Printer related 

Executing a print hold job, directly after the file list is displayed, and confirming the preview 
would result in a white screen and the machine freezing. This problem has been corrected. 

10  Printer related 

When handling special PS print data output, the MFP machine would enter a memory 
full state and freeze. This problem has been corrected. 

11  Printer related 

Clearing the offset function and conducting print output from the PC would cause the 
"Caution Warning Page" to be output at printing. Setting [System Settings]

let the "Caution Warning Page" to be output. This problem has been corrected.

At the machine which installed the printer expansion kit, after setting [System Settings]

 [Auto-colour Calibration], the print quality of a PCL print would 

be incorrect. This problem has been corrected.

Printing could not be achieved through the special USB print server. This glitch has 
been corrected.

When using Secure User Login, the FAX origin name would not included in some cases. 
This glitch has been corrected.

Even though the FAX receiving data lamp would go on, and data had been received, the 
data would not be output (in the communication records, the communication result would

When selecting a recipient for a FAX/image, "Job overflow. Input not possible." would be 
displayed and be unable to sending. This problem has been corrected. 

Furthermore, when this problem occurs, updating the firmware can apply the 
countermeasures, fixing the machine. However, on a machine suffering from this 
problem, performing the normal firmware upgrade to SIM49-01 will require an 
abnormally long time, therefore, perform firmware upgrade using the CN update 
function.

Sending to a file server using "Scan to SMB" is not possible. This problem has been 
corrected.

An MFP machine and a PC connected via USB would not recover from power saving 
mode. This problem has been corrected.

If the machine enters sleep mode while USB memory is connected, the USB memory 
could not be scanned. This problem has been corrected. 

25  Option related 

The detection process control for F1-19 (Finisher alignment operation trouble F) has 
been changed to the following. 

 

- During initial operation, an F1-19 error will not be recognized as an error the first time, 

instead it will be retried, and if the error persists 3 times continuously an error will be issued. 

- When performing stapling, an F1-19 error has been changed to be identified not as an 

alignment plate error, but a batch ejection hold jam. 

26  Web page related 

Attempting to login from the web on an MFP machine with set a device name(s), that includes 
an "_" (underscore), will cause the machine to freeze. This problem has been corrected.

Document filing

Saving would fail for saving created data to user folders using document filing that had 
characters other than Japanese and alpha-numeric characters (Ex: Chinese, 
French/German special characters, etc.). This problem has been corrected.

authentication 
related 

Using user authentication settings, re-printing of print save jobs from the retention 
function will not be performed. This problem has been corrected. 

29  OSA related 

When copying data using an OSA application, only the copy would be added to the 
balance, the copy would not be produced. This problem has been corrected. 

30  Other 

Specific USB Card Readers would not be recognized. Now, they can be recognized by 
switching through the software SW.
