3.15   If you have already loaded a printer driver of this type, the following screen will

appear. This is asking you if you would like to update the already installed printer
driver. If you are not updating the driver, click Next.

3.16  The next window will allow you to enter a name for the printer or you can keep the

default name. This name will appear in the printers list when selecting printers from
within an application. It is generally recommended to use the printers default name.

3.17   Now we have the option to share the printer. On a server computer you will probably

want to share the printer so that client computers can print through this shared print
queue. If this is so, click on the Share As button and give the shared printer a name as
below. Click on Next  to proceed.

3.18  You can also supply a location name for this shared printer and include other

comments.

3.19 You are now asked if you wish to perform a test print. As the printer driver still has to be

configured, select No and then click on Next.

3.20  The settings you have entered throughout the installation process are now listed for

you to check before the printer driver installation is completed. Click Finish to complete
this part of the installation.

3.21  At this point, a message may appear saying that this software has not been tested for

Windows 2000. Ignore this as it does not mean it will not work with Windows 2000.
Press Yes to continue the installation.

3.22  We can now see the installed shared printer driver. This printer driver must now be

configured for any additional options such as a sorter, duplex etc. The printer driver
defaults will also need to be set-up.

4  Right click the installed printer driver and select Properties from the bottom of the menu.

Click on the Device Settings tab.

4.1  Scroll down to the bottom of the list and configure the driver with the options installed on

the AR-C150. Scroll to the top of the list and alter the tray settings to match the paper
set in the AR-C150.
