34) Click on [Browse…] and open “Choose File to Upload” dialog box. Select the firmware file for LAN micro controller.
File name is “Lan_FirmUpdater
\
PNU533_Lan.bin”.
Caution:
If incorrect firmware is selected, it is impossible to guarantee the operation after update. Make sure to select proper firmware.
35) Click on [Send] key to transmit firmware to the display.

36) ”Update LAN Function” becomes selectable once the transmission has been completed.
Click on “Update LAN Function” and then click on “OK” on confirmation dialog box.
37) Status screen appears.
38) Logon screen returns once the firmware update has been completed.
39) Turn off/on the main power of display.
Refer to “11.4 How to Confirm Version information” and confirm the version number.

4-3. What to Do If a Firmware Update Fails
40) Firmware update may fail because for example, LAN cable was removed or main power was turned off/on during the data
transmission via Firmware Updater or operation of Update LAN Function. In that case, turn off/on the main power of display.
41) The display can work with the firmware which was installed before update.
42) Refer to “12.2 How to Update Firmware via Web Browser” and try all over again.
43) If incorrect data file is written by mistake and the display stops working, try writing the firmware via RS-232C cable. (However, we
cannot guarantee for recovery.)
