1. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTIONS
1-1. SYSTEM COMPONENT
・
This machine realizes the super high-definition monitor (resolution 3840x2160(QFHD)).
・
This machine adopts IGZO/IPS panel whose screen size is
32" Class (31-35/64 inch (80.1cm) diagonal).
・
It is possible to adjust the color by OSD and the adjustment values are saved in the embedded EEPROM.
・
The input interface is composed of Displayport, HDMI, the audio stereo jack and RS-232C stereo jack. And, the output interface has one
audio stereo jack.
・
This machine adopts the LED backlights and realize the thinner monitor.
1-2. UNIT COMPOSITION
The display is composed of the LCD unit (including the LCD-TCON, LED PWB x4), the LED Driver PWB, the LED PWB x4, the main PWB,
the key PWB, the LED indicator PWB, the thermistor PWB, the DC-DC PWBN and the AC adaptor.

1-4.I/F PWB Unit
■ OPERATIONAL DESWCRIPTION
・
Regarding the video signal, it is possible to receive DisplayPort signal and HDMI signal.
・
DisplayPort signal is input from CN201.
・
HDMI signal is input from CN302 or CN1401. Or, HDMI signal is input from both CN302 and CN1401.
・
The input video signal is handled by STDP9320 x 2(IC200,IC1400, is transferred into LVDS signal and is output to from CN901 to
CN2202.
・
The audio signal is input from the line input of CN801 or the audio signal mixed with DisplayPort signal or HDMI signal. These signals
are handled by STDP9320 (IC200) and activated by the audio amplifier (CN702).
・
The audio signal is output from the audio amplifier (IC702) to Headphone terminal (CN701) or the embedded speakerterminal (CN702).
・
The control and OSD of USB, RS-232C, keys, LED, photo sensors and thermistor are handled by ARM microcomputer (IC2500) and
CPLD(IC2400).
・
The power is input from the power connector (CN3200) of DC-DC PWB. Then, the voltage is generated on DC/DC block of PWB and
supplied to ICs of each block of PWB.
・
The sequence control of the power for each block is controlled by CPLD (IC2400).
■ MAJOR COMPONENT PARTS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

IC701
Audio amplifier This activates the headphone or the speaker by receiving I2C audio signal from IC200.
IC802
DSP for sampling the audio : This samples the analog signal by the line input and transfers the analog signal to the
digital signal. The transferred signal is sent to IC200 by I2C.
IC501
Port processor of HDM This receives the signals from two HDMI connectors and handles and sends them to
IC200 and IC1400. Or, this sends signals of two HDMI connectors to IC200 and IC1400.
IC200
Scaler IC chip : This receives DP signal or HDMI signal, scales or handles by double speed and output the left half
part of QFDH (Quad Full High Definition). The video output format is 960 x 2160. When these ICs input DP
signals, these ICs receive QFDH signal and send it to IC1400. At this moment, this reads the data of left half part
of the monitor and displays the data. When these ICs input 30Hz HDMI signals, these reads the data of all part
of the monitor. When these ICs input 60Hz HDMI signals, these reads the data of half part of the monitor. Then,
displays the data.
IC401,IC402
Frame memory of IC200 operation
IC1400
Scaler IC chip : This receives DP signal or HDMI signal, scales or handles by double speed and output the left half
part of QFDH (Quad Full High Definition). The video output format is 960 x 2160. When these ICs input DP
signals, these ICs receive QFDH signal and display only right half part of the monitor. When these ICs input 30Hz
HDMI signals, these reads the data of all part of the monitor. When these ICs input 60Hz HDMI signals, these
reads the data of half part of the monitor. Then, displays the data.

CPLD This controls the sequence of starting up the power, the power of each part of the machine or each IC.

Controls the arm microcomputer and the whole system.
