The screen shot below shows the screen that is displayed under I-Link settings. Set all fields 

to the ones shown, pay particular attention to the Incoming Directory field it MUST be set to 

that in Venta (EFTREQ setting) & Venta PRO (File Exchange Area)

The purpose of this setting is to create a link between a POS Terminal and a Chip & PIN 

Terminal. Using this setting either one to one settings can be set or multi-POS to single Chip 
& PIN Terminal settings. The POS IP setting is the file name from the POS to the I-Link 

Software. On Venta & Venta PRO the file name is related to the terminal number it takes the

The above setting is for Terminal 1 terminal 2 would have a file of T0002nnn. So the setting 

in POS IP should be set to :- 

 

Terminal 1 – T0001* 

Terminal 2 – T0002* 
Terminal 3 – T0003* 

 

 

 

Terminal 99 – T0099* 

 
The file setting should then be linked to a Chip & PIN Terminal. The Terminal drop down box 

will offer all terminals connected to the PC being used. Select the terminal required.

It is also necessary to configure the Chip & PIN Terminal that has the OCIUS client installed, 

after entering configuration in accordance with Commidea OCIUS Manual at the start-up 

screen select F4 to enter configuration. 
 

 

1.  IP address of the PC that has the I-Link software installed will be set 

2.  PORT should be set to 29000 

3. 

TxN PORT and should be set to 29000 

4. 

TxN IP Address should be the same as the 1 

 

 

1.  IP Address should be set to an address that is on the same subnet as the I-Link PC 

 

 

 

1.  Set SSL to Non-SSL 

2. 

Set Keyed Transaction to Keyed
