Venta PRO Registration

Overview

Using Venta PRO it is now possible to register your software over the Internet. This
manual describes the procedures necessary to use this service, to use the system the reseller
must be registered on the Venta Pro Registration server

technical support department.
If internet access is unavailable it is also possible to contact the Sharp Technical department who
can register the software online.

It should be noted that if the software is run unregistered, the following restrictions are in
force :-

1. Product Department & Group reports are limited.
2. UNREGISTERED appears on ALL printouts.

However ALL chargeable options are available in unregistered mode.
These will cease to function unless you specifically choose them in registration.

Procedure

A Sharp Venta Pro Registration server registered reseller can then follow the procedure detailed
below: -
1.

  Purchase of a Venta Registration from Sharp (UK)

2.

  Sharp will increment your available licences within the registration server.

3.

  Login to the

4.

  Select Register

5.

  Ensure that you select the software that you would like to register

Venta Plus V3 or Below (X200)
Venta Plus V4 only (X200)
Venta Pro (POS)

6.

  Fill in the fields as shown above and select Next

7.

  Confirm that the details entered are correct and select Generate

8.

  The unlock code provided can now be entered including the Hyphens into Venta Pro via the

Venta Main Menu – Utilities – Product Registration

IMPORTANT

When obtaining an unlock code from Venta Pro if the

lock code begins with a letter “N” you will be

invoiced separately for the additional cost difference

for using Venta PRO on

NON Sharp equipment.
