Touch panel calibration utility

CHAPTER 6. Touch panel calibration utility
1. OUTLINE
This utility is for aligning press position and display position. This utility
should be used to calibrate in following cases.
*
After installing Touch panel driver.
*
When Touch panel device was exchanged in case like service.
Calibration data are written in "Windows-Registry".
This utility is composed from the following screens.
*
The calibration screen which does calibration operation.
*
The drawing test screen which confirms a pressing position and dis-
playing position in touch panel after calibration is finished.
[Notice] A full keyboard is necessary to operate this utility.
Touch panel driver must be set up in order to run this utility.
2. FUNCTION
The position calibration for the touch panel.
3. OPERATION
3-1. LAUNCHING UTILITY
Windows2000:
From task bar, touch [Start]-[Program]-[Fujitsu Touch Panel (USB)]-
[Touch Screen Calibration utility] to launch.
Windows XP:
From task bar, touch [Start]-[All Programs]-[Fujitsu Touch Panel (USB)]-
[Touch Screen Calibration utility] to launch.
You can also launch this utility (calwin.exe) from Windows Explorer.
Following window will be displayed.
(1) The next calibration screen is displayed. ("+" is indicated)
(2) Press where "+" is displayed. If position pressed is correctable
point, "+" will move to next position.
(3) Press [Enter] key after all twelve "+"s are pressed.
(4) Drawing test screen will be displayed when calibration is complete suc-
cessfully.
(5) The key input for the calibration screen.
(6) Drawing test screen
A drawing test screen is the test screen which can draw freely with
input device.
By visually confirming pressing point and the displaying point, cali-
bration result can be assured.
It will change to the drawing test screen in following cases.
*
When [Home] key was pressed in the calibration screen.
*
When [Enter] key was pressed and calibration data was updated.
(7) The key input for the drawing test screen.
[Home]
Test Screen
Calibration is stopped, and changes
to the drawing test screen.
[Tab]
Cursor on/off A cursor in screen is turned ON or OFF.
[ A r r o w
Keys]
Move target
"+"  mark is moved to another position.
[Esc]
Cancel
Calibration is stopped, and calibration
program will be terminated.
[Enter]
Next Screen
Creates calibration data,
and changes to the drawing test screen.
[Home]
Calibration Screen It changes to the calibration screen.
[Tab]
Cursor on/off
A cursor in screen is turned ON or OFF.
[ S p a c e
Bar]
Clear Screen
A screen is cleared. A key 
guidance part goes up and down.
[Esc]
Cancel & Exit
Calibration is stopped, and calibra-
tion program will be terminated. 
[Enter]
Save & Exit
Ends calibration program.
