Employee Time In/Out with contactless Clerk Key only [V1.64]
It has been requested that the Employee Time In/Out should only be possible by using a contactless
Clerk Key. By setting the SRV parameter #992C +4 this feature becomes available with V1.64.
Because only a 4 digit number can be assigned during the programming of the contactless Clerk
Key, the Employee code has to follow this restriction and must not exceed 9999. On the other
hand, all Clerks related functions are not possible anymore. The contactless Clerk Key can be used
for Time In/Out only.

Combo PLU to Drink Dispenser [V1.65]
In the previous version, only PLU and Link PLU registrations were sent to the Drink Dispenser.
Since V1.65 even a Combo PLU registration will be sent to the Drink Dispenser. All combo items,
leading Combo as well as the tied Combo PLUs, will be sent, if their numbering corresponds to the
Drink Dispenser value number range. This feature is enabled by default.

Scale registration without Tara [V1.65]
If a tare weight has been set at the scale, it will be overwritten by the information sent from the
ECR if there is no tare table assigned at the ECR for that PLU.
In this case, the ECR simply sends 0 as the tare weight. To avoid this, the ECR will send the data
without any tare information whenever there is no tare table assigned to that PLU and no manual
Tara-entry has been done.

Screen limitation [V1.65]
For each Clerk a screen limitation can be set in order to disable the access to certain screens. This is
current specification. But in case no clerk is signed on, every screen can be displayed without any
limitation.
To make it possible, to have a screen which can be shown only to signed-on clerks a new SRV
parameter (SRV #992D) has been introduced. If this SRV parameter is set the screen# 30 can only
be opened if a clerk is signed on and has no limitation.
If the clerk is signed on, the above mentioned screen limitation setting becomes valid.

Customer charge limit [V1.65]
Currently the Customer charge limit will be validated by every single item registration. Even if the
Customer wants to pay by Cash, it can happen that the registration is not possible because it
exceeds the set Customer limit.
If the already existing SRV parameter #986A is set to -4 (Customer code entry finalized by -> Any
Payment) the Customer limit will be validated only at the end of the transaction by using CHARGE.

Sending of registration data to the Ethernet network [V1.67]
In order to use a PC as e.g. a customer display or as a video surveillance system (with corresponding
software) it is possible to send out registration data over the Ethernet network. During a
registration, every single item registration will be send. After finalizing the registration, the total
amount as well as the clerk name and number will be sent additionally.
To activate this feature the new Service parameter #997 has to be set accordingly. With this
parameter the last octet of the IP address of the Server PC as well as the port the Server PC is
listening to must be defined.

the MWS at \6 PGM2 MODE\2 SETTING\23 MWS CONFIG\[IP ADDRESS1-4] must set to the same
network. After setting this SRV parameter #997 a Service Reset is necessary.
For transmitting the data, the UDP protocol will be used, means the ECR does not expect any
answer from the Server PC.

Because the reports in an Inline-System will be taken at the Master, the “Saved Reports” feature
introduced at V1.50, is advisable at the Master only. The “Saved Reports” feature was not available
at the Satellite.

Electronic Journal data saved onto the SD Card. Since it is not possible to receive and store the
Electronic Journal data from a Satellite at Master side, the “Saved Reports” feature is now available
at the Satellite as well.
If the “Saved Reports” feature is enabled at the Satellite it will save the Electronic Journal data and
the All RAM Backup respectively the PGM Backup according to their PGM setting onto the local SD
Card.
