Selecting languages from OTHER

Some discs will not allow the menu language to be changed.
MPEG OUT setting
Simultaneous output of an analogue and digital audio signal is not possible for the
AUDIO/DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) when playing MPEG 5.1 channel software. As a
result, 2-channel analogue output will not be possible at the time of digital 5.1
channel output. To this end, it will be necessary to set either a digital output of the
MPEG audio or an analogue output using MPEG OUT on the DVD SET UP screen.

TV setting:
Set this when using the analogue output of the MPEG
audio (e.g., TV 2-channel stereo).
AMP setting:
Set this when using MPEG multiplex audio with a digital
connection to the amplifier. (The 2-channel analogue
output is not possible at this time)

When viewing a DVD on your DVD player screen, you select the screen size
that best suits the image you are viewing.
To set the screen size
Screen Size Setting
• Using different screen size mode combinations from those shown above will
produce images that are stretched horizontally or cut off at the top and bottom.
Helpful Hints
• The screen size mode automatically changes to STRETCH when you play a 16:9
wide image DVD with the “TV MODE SET” item of the DVD SET UP set to 16:9.

• The ZOOM mode uses a special process to stretch the image vertically.
Compared with the original image, you may be able to notice some jagged lines
or horizontal inside the stretched image. This does not indicate malfunction.
