SECTION 2  DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES

 2. 5. D-P.C.Board removal
1. Remove the main unit according to the item "2.3 Main unit removal".
2. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the D shield plate and D-P.C.Board.
 2. 6. Shaft holder removal
1. Remove the front cover according to the steps 1 through 3 in the item "2.3 Main unit removal".
2. Remove the hex nut to fixing the shaft and hold base.
3. Unscrew the 1 screw and release the main unit (with hold base).
Because a connector cable is still connected, please be careful.

4. Unscrew the 1 screw and remove the paul cover.
5. Unscrew the 1 screw and remove the E-ring.
6. Pull out the shaft holder from the pole portion.
When assembling, the glossy surface of a spacer is upward.

 2. 7. Lens unit removal
1. Remove the A-P.C.Board block, according to the steps 1 through 3 in the item "2. 4. A-P.C.Board, NT-P.C.Board removal".
2. Remove the D-P.C.Board according to the item "2. 5. D-P.C.Board removal".
3. Unscrew the 3 screws and remove the lens unit.
Be careful not to lose the shims.
Check the focus balance after assembled.  (refer to SECTION 3)
4. 1) Attach the shim in the direction of the figure when assembling.
    2) Tighten the screws in numerical order.
 2. 8. LD unit removal
1. Remove the A-P.C.Board block, according to the steps 1 through 3 in the item "2. 4. A-P.C.Board, NT-P.C.Board removal".
2. Remove the D-P.C.Board according to the item "2. 5. D-P.C.Board removal".
3. Unscrew the 4 screws and pull out the LD unit and cable cover sheet. (Do not separate the LD and a heat sink.)
4. Open the connector cover sheet, and disconnect the connector of LD unit.
5. Unscrew the 1 screw and remove the M-P.C.Board.

Connector of the LD unit, white cable is bottom side.
 2. 9. FM-P.C.B, DMD chip removal
1. Remove the A-P.C.Board block, according to the steps 1 through 3 in the item "2. 4. A-P.C.Board, NT-P.C.Board removal".
2. Remove the D-P.C.Board according to the item "2. 5. D-P.C.Board removal".
3. Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the heatsink spring and DMD heatsink.
Grease (Heat dissipation compound) : 
Shin-Etsu Silicone [ G-776 ] grade

At the time of assembly, uniformly
coating with thermal conduction
grease to the convex surface of
