6.2. Disassembly
6.2.1. Preparation
Attention :
Before disassembly, be sure to perform the
following steps.
1. End the Windows.
2. Turn off the power, and then remove the AC Adaptor.
3. Slide the latches (A), and then remove the Battery
Pack.
4. Remove the Screw (A), and then remove the DIMM
Cover. (Remove if the DIMM Memory is equipped
with)
Screw (A) : XSB2+4FL
5. Remove the 2 Hooks, and then remove the Sub
Board (Keyboard).

5. Remove the threee Screw (B), and then remove the
CPU Heat Releas Cover and Heat Releas Cushion.

6.2.2. Removing the Keyboard
Preparation : perform the section 6.2.1. first.
1. Remove the Screw (C), and then remove the
Antenna Cover.
Screw (C) : DXHM0056ZA
2. Remove the Hook (A), (B), and then remove the
Side Cover.
3. This side of the Keyboard at a fulcrum, and it is
reversed, and then carries on a Top Case.
4. Remove the FFC from the Connector (CN806), and
then remove the Keyboard.
(Please do not bend FFC at the time of the assembly
of the Keyboard)
4. Close the Disk Cover and LCD and turn the computer
over.
7. Remove the 2 Screws (J).
Screw (J) : DFHE5035ZA
8. Open the LCD Block by 90° degkes, and then Set
up the entrie Set.
9. Remove the 2 Screws (H).
Screw (H) : XYN26+J5FNL
10. Remove the 2 Screws (I).
Screw (I) : XTB26+14GFN
11. Remove the Bottome Case.

6.2.3. Removing the Bottome Case
Preparation : perform the section 6.2.1., 6.2.2. first.
1. Insert a small screwdriver into the hole and slide the
lock in the direction shown by arrow D to open the
Disc Cover.
2. Remove the 6 Screws (D) and 5 Screws (E).
Screw (D) : DXQT2+E10FZL
Screw (E) : DXQT2+E6FNL
3. Remove the FFC (PAD-MAIN) from the Connector
(CN22).
6.2.4. Removing the LCD Block
Preparation : perform the section 6.2.1. ~ 6.2.3. first.
1. Remove the LCD Cable from the Connector (CN8).
2. Remove the Inverter Cable from the Connector
(CN11).
