Exit Door (Open)

Document Cover
(1) Raise the Hopper Tray in the direction of the arrow, and then
pull the Exit Door Release to open the door.

(3) Remove the 2 rivets to release the Document Cover.

Front Cover
(4) Pull up the Document Cover in the direction of the arrow to
remove it from the Back Cover.

(2) Pry off the 2 screw caps with a mini screw-driver.
(3) Remove the 2 screws (a), screw (b), and screw (b) with

PANEL Board
(4) Remove the 1 connector (CN1) to the PANEL Board and
separate the Front Cover from the scanner in the direction of

Reassembling Note:
When reassembling the Front Cover, make sure that the
flat cables are covered properly, so that they are not
pinched by the cover.

(1) Remove the Front Cover. (See 8.2.3.)
(2) Remove the 1 screw.
(3) Release the 2 hooks to separate the PANEL Board with the
