When you receive service call about Compressor noise, you
can change the Compressor rotational speed tentatively when
checking noise.
HOW TO SET

1. Set in SERVICE MODE.

(Press [FRESH FREEZING] button for 5 seconds.) 

2. Press the buttons as follows.

• At first, {C} and {--} are displayed on the Notice indicator. 

Other signs can be seen refer to “Service Mode” (Sound
Inhibition Mode and Vibration Inhibition Mode).

3. you can change Compressor rotational speed by

{FREDGE} or {FREEZER} button.

• When setting to intermittent cooling mode, this function can

not be performed.

• This function can be performed only when Compressor is

running.
If there is cooled below the setting temperature during this
function, Compressor is stopped.(While Compressor has
stopped, {C} and {00} are displayed on the Notice indicator.)

• If Compressor stops, change the temperature control to

lower setting or open FC door.
Then, Compressor starts running.

*1 When the following all of conditions are met, Compressor
rotational speed is changed to R6.

• AT 34°C or above
•  {FRESH FREEZING} and {QUICK ICE MAKING} are operating
• Compartment temperature rises largely.

• ECO-NAVI Lamp can be quickly tested whether the lamp is

turned on.

• Even while setting in ECO-NAVI LAMP DISABLE or ECO-

NAVI MODE DISABLE, the ECO-NAVI Lamp is turned on for
confirmation.

1. Set in SERVICE MODE.

(Press [FRESH FREEZING] button for 5 seconds.) 

2. Shield the sensing part of light sensor from the light.

After 5 seconds, ECO-NAVI Lamp is turned on.

After ECO-NAVI Lamp is turned on, even if the lightproof
one is uncovered, ECO-NAVI Lamp has continued to turn
on.
(If the DOOR (PCR) is opened once or SERVICE MODE is
finished, ECO-NAVI Lamp is turned off.)

• Open and close the door (PC/IC/FC).

• The signs are appeared twice separately.

  EXAMPLE:{H01} is displayed the sign {H} on Notice indicator first, next {01} is displayed.

• Check the CHECK POINT in ascending order (1.2.3...).
• In the case of normally recovery during {H**} sign, the sign is disappeared.
• Display reset: press [FRIDGE] button for 3 seconds, and a beep sounds, then Notice indicator {H**} is turned off.

However, {H50} and displaying history do not disappear.
If it still continues the defective condition, the sign will be re-displayed.
 (Most of cases take between several minutes and several hours.)
In the case of faulty sensor circuit, Notice indicator is displayed again after 10 seconds.

• When setting in SERVICE MODE during malfunction signal, the voltage of Fan motor is turning on and off 

every 3 seconds repeatedly.It is easy to confirm the output voltage and identify the cause of abnormality. 

*1... These signs appear when SERVICE MODE is controlled.(Normally customer can not see these signs.)
     When SERVICE MODE is finished, displaying history is deleted except self diagnosis sign which is continued to display 
     on the Notice indicator.
*2... If a signal circuit is disconnected, Fan motor will become a high velocity revolution and a refrigerator will not cause
     the shortage of cooling.
*3... {U10} will disappear when to unplug. However, if the trouble continue, the sign {U10} will appear again.
     When setting in SERVICE MODE, the beep sound and Interior lamps (LED) flashing have stopped for 24 hours. 
     However, {U10} sign is displayed continuously.

The following functions for Compressor operation, temperature setting, and other control can be changed from normal setting to
special setting during SERVICE MODE as needed. 

• After the refrigerator is cooled enough, the Forced defrosting

operation is started.

• Forced defrosting operation will be automatically finished

when FC temperature (Defrost sensor) rises to certain tem-
perature.

1. Set in SERVICE MODE.

(Press [FRESH FREEZING] button for 5 seconds.) 

2. Press the buttons as follows.

• Turn the power OFF.

Maximum rotational speed is lowered one step to inhibit the fast
rotational sound (noise) when the Compressor is operating with
ambient temperature of 34°C or above.

• Conditional rotational speed is not changed to R6.
• However, this does not apply during FRESH FREEZING and

QUICK ICE MAKING.

• Even when the refrigerator is powered off, this setting has

remained on the refrigerator.

2. Press [FRESH FREEZING] button for 1 second. 
3. Press the buttons as follows.

2. Press [FRESH FREEZING] button for 1 second. 
3. Press the buttons as follows.

Following sign is displayed in the Notice indicator after {C}
when the Compressor rotational speed is changed in the
Test mode.
