3. PROBLEM CHECKING
3.1   Thermo Pot performance test mode
Please follow check operating detail below, before
start to check the problems.
LED symbol for this instruction show as below.
How to operate
1. Pour approx. 1000 ml water into the container.
2. Supply with 220V electric power.

1. Long boil/Reboil LED will be lighted and 
    208F/98C LED will be blink and start to boil
    water.
2. After approx. 9~10 min. 208F/98C LED will be
    lighted and change to keep warm state.
3.1.1 Boiling and Keep warm test

How to operate
1. Set Keep warm to 98.
2. Press “Long Boil/Reboil” pad once or twice
    to keep warm.
Operating detail
1. Long Boil/Reboil LED will be lighted and
    208F/98C LED will be blink and start to boil
    water.
2. 208F/98C LED will be lighted in approx. 2 min.,
    later.
If press “Long Boil/Reboil” pad once.
Operating detail
1. Long Boil/Reboil LED and 208F/98C LED will
    be blink and start to boil water.
2. After approx. 7 min., 208F/98C LED will be
    lighted.
If press “Long Boil/Reboil” pad twice to
eliminate chlorine.

1. Remove 2 tapping screws and 1 truss head
    screw from bottom plate.
2. Remove 1 screw and sleeve from body.
3. Remove white, orange lead wire and earth
    wire from peg frame.
4. Remove body off.
5. Remove waterproof cover B.
3.2 Dismantle procedure for failure

Do not do maintennance and re-use if copper
pattern on PCB is broken.
Microcomputer in thermo pot, may break
down by static electricity from clothes,
human body, workbenches, etc., when
touch or wonder to touch should to
ground humnan body with several M
Ω.

3.4   Failure diagnostics chart
3.4.1 No power. (There is no power indication)
Replace the Container comp.
Is there connection across the keep warm heater?
(approx. 430
Ω) (between the brown and the yellow
portions)

Replace the Control unit A (bottom).
Is there connection in the lead wire assy E? (0
Ω)
When the above parts are normal
Replace the Control unit B (operation).
When the above parts are normal
Replace the Lead wire assy E.

Replace the Thermal fuse comp.
Is there connection between the blue lead wire on
the peg frame and the CN3 connector of the control

3.4.2 Water is not boiling. (Water comes out)
Replace the Container comp.
Is there connection across the boiling heater?
(approx. 70
Ω) (between the blue and the white
portions)

Replace the Control unit A (bottom).

3.4.4 Long Boil/Reboil LED and 208F/98C LED are lighted up alternately.
         (Overheating protection mode / Bottom thermistor disconnection mode)
Supply water and press the Long Boil/Reboil pad.
Is there water inside?

Replace the Control unit B (operation).
Replace the Thermistor assy.
Is there connection across the Thermistor assy?
(approx. 20˚C : approx. 45K

3.4.3 Hot water cannot poured out or water flow is obstructed. (Water is boiled)
Open the lid once and close it again before pouring
out the hot water.
After the water has been boiled, the boiling bubbles may enter the
pump and obstruct the hot water from pouring out smoothly for a
little while.
